I've trained dogs for a nonprofit. I helped them pass their Canine Good Citizen test. We would take dogs out of kill shelters, rehabilitate them, and then adopt them out to loving families.
All a dog needs is love, support, structure and patience. All of these things yall are providing them with so they csn benefit amd fill a need that will make a person's life better. Awesome!
I was there this morning for our first visit. Filled out all the paperwork (wish this had been sent to me in an email so that I could have done it at home), and then was shown the "play" rooms on the computer monitor in the lobby. The room where my little guy would be was quite small and cold-looking: tile floor (to be expected), one water bowl, no toys or climbing furniture of any kind, no person interacting with the dogs. There were about six dogs standing around this small room looking at each other. One was barking. I decided this would not be a happy place for my dog at all. He would be better off left in my kitchen for the day where at least he would have a bed to lie down on. Your videos are very enticing, but the reality seems to be quite different. "Fun and engaging?" Not what I saw. What a disappointment!

I saw you on Port Jeff Pulse, and found you hilarious, was wondering if you are hiring, I live in Port Jefferson Station, my name is Phillip, I have adult ADHD aspiring comedian(amongst other creative ventures), but really looking for a job to take care of my mom, I can work 19 hours a week. If not, cool. if yes, cool. i am just trying to throw out some lines because as soon as I say i have a mental illness condition, no one wants to hire me, but. Thanks! If hired I can maybe help promote anything that you'd like me to promote, growing my twitter, my youtube, blog.
