Also, is both your head shell made out of aluminum or plastic? Bc my head shell that I have had the screw attachment from the bottom and not like the screw holes from the top. I just ordered it but an open box without the head shell and I need to get one but they have aluminum head shells. Also, does the cartridge come with 4 screws and 2 plastic washers and a small screw driver, Also, I don’t know how old my needle and cartridge is, but when I played a record I just got off eBay, the volume was sounding low. And I played another record and it was twice as loud. So I’m think it might be the used record and I know it was professionally cleaned and may have worn down the volume.
i just bougth one but just needle assembly , not the part that goes into tone arm but the rest of it , lol im new to records sorry , i bought a used table from thrift store and needed needle :) i picked this one up from amazon , i hope its good starter table :)
@@markonissweatshop1364 thanks!!! Hi! One more question. If you have a turntable with direct drive motor can it goes faster or slower? Because, if you have a stroboscope you are able to correct the speed but what is happening with the speed when you possess a turntable with direct drive motor? Thanks.
@@user-yj5jq4qg9j Yes, you have buttons to adjust speed. This one has 2 buttons - 33 and 45 rpm. You can choose either, or press them both together and have 78 rpm.
Ovaj sam bend prvi put slusao prije nekih 15 godina...i to slucajno. Sve se mislio neki strani bend....a ne Jugosi. Koja je ovo svirka bila bogte neće. Uploud-uj sve stvari sto imas druze. Svaka cast na ovom!
I have the same turntable and after I replaced the belt it seems the spinning works the wrong way around (not the direction). When the needle is in its "parked" position it turns, but when swung over the vinyl "playing surface" it stops...then somewhere near the center end of the recording area it starts spinning again.
Hmmmm, hard to say. Check to see that you installed the belt correctly around the small pulley and speed change arm. This turntable is junk (in my opinion) and I sold it soon after the belt replacement. Good luck.
How do you post videos spinning vinyl and not get blocked for copyright? I tried posting one today and got blocked immediately. I just put a new AT VM95EN on my turntable and wanted to show it off. Thanks. Nice AT Turntable!
Thanks. You need to search YT's copyright section for the song you wish to post. Some are allowed everywhere, some not, some only in certain parts of the world, etc. Hope that answers your question.
The Orto 2m Red is *not* a better cartridge in my opinion. If you want to revive your old cart *and* get a far better package overall, look at the LP Gear "Vividline" stylus replacement for the AT95E (I believe it's named ATN95VL). Fantastic stylus that's a direct replacement for your broken one and night-and-day better.
If you buy it in Japan, it costs 9500 yen. You can purchase it at a rate of € = 114 yen / € 84. Japan Post will be very carefully packed and delivered. It will be about one month due to the virus turmoil. Can you handle the mail in your home country carefully?
This Audio Technica range all lean towards the high frequencies. The cheaper ones have poor tracking and sibilance on the inner grooves with no body to the sound. The more expensive AT cartridges have better styli but that is wasted because of the same cheap body, magnets and wiring across the range.
A Nagoaka MP110 is a lovely cartridge with a real life sound and a good tracker. A wee bit more expensive but worth it. The Grado Green is a decent performer too. I'm. Just not a fan of Audio technica or Ortofon cartridges as they sound more sterile and digital than Nagoakas.
Good question and thanks for asking and answering. I just ordered the VM 95E and got for $55. including shipping . My head shell seem not have the 2 holes they goes like in most but seems attached from the bottom of tye head shell. I haven’t checked it out yet and waiting to get the cartridge first. Well, I know it’s easy and cheap to get another head shell but l was hopping to just attach and start playing records. But I’m glad the love of vinyl has come back, but wish more new music was put out on vinyl. Also I heard record plants are closing up and not many left.
Im currently using the AT VM95E on a Thorens TD402DD. My amplifyer is a Denon PMA 1600 NE and the speakers are Kef R700. I ordered the Ortofon 2M red pnp as it gives a brighter sound. I ordered it including pnp mkII headshell to be able to change as quickly as possible.
Hey Jacob, I didn't even notice it was supposed to be at 45rpm. It doesn't say anywhere on the record. Here's the correct version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XatjjvnZTM0.html Cheers!
