At the end of the video (11:30) after you remove front panel. There is a some grey valve with spring. In my case looks like that there is not enough pressure (after knock sometimes work) and water instead goes by nozzle going straight to drain canal. Valve looks ok for me, spring move freely after push from inside. Would you think it will be a main pump starts failure ? Did you had such a case ? No any errors show on display. Any advice welcome :) Thank you
Hello one question i have sane Jura z6.Does the grinder have 3 springs and balls inside below small blade or not?Cause u can't squeeze the grinder enough.Whatever i doo it moves and grinding isn't fine enough.
Hey Copi! Is it recommended to to this service (clean the brew unit) before any problems occur? I purchased a used Jura Z6 from a company auction. It has over 12000 cups made and I dont know its service history if any. It is working great! But im a maintenence kinda guy. Should I try this even if it is working good? Maybe there are more parts in the machine that could use cleaning, or any orings that should be replaced? How often does jura recommend making this service?
Thanks for the video used Part 1 & part 2 to pull apart my wife's Z6 cleaned the Brew head it was fairly easy to follow your video, all I did was play it backward when parts came in to put it back to together you saved us a ton of money because of this video
Did they update the design and hose size? I have had a number of giga 10s which keep getting a system fill error message. I am using grind setting fine or medium. Fine seems to always cause error message.
You should check the membrane thing. This is a part after the water pump. The membrane is a one way valve, to check the parts you need to blow from output to input, if the wind comes out from the output to input, your membrane is need to replace.
Been asking around since like 25th of sep if i should by the breville barista express, no seems to care lol. The sale is only active until today 1st Oct. Hopeful that you will give me an answer since the upload is new. Where I'm from the breville barista express is on sale for 540 USD, is this a good price? Is it maybe even considered to be a must buy or do you think I can get a better price further down the road, like Xmas and so forth. Thank :)
@@coffeetechphNo worries 😊 couple of other people answered on that day. It was a good price but I decided to wait until black Friday and prime day sales start to see if I can get an even better deal. Maybe combine a baratza encore esp with a breville bambino instead? Who knows ? Let's wait and see! Anyways appreciate the reply, have a great day my friend 😊
I just purchased a Jura Z10 Signature for half price while on vacation in Germany, image my dismay when I couldn't even get past the startup menu after spending 3 hours running a 240V wire to my kitchen counter. "Drip Tray Not Fitted" message. Rather than chase a complicated shipping & warranty repair I decided to take a look inside ... with your video I had Z10 stripped naked in less than 5 minutes. Found the problem right away, one of the door micro switches (see orange wires front bottom) had popped loose in shipping, snapped it back down (no tools) and the message went away. Finished the setup menu and my Z10 works perfectly. Your video gave me the confidence to lift the hood and find the problem. Thank you very much! Vielen Dank
Well one month later and the same message "Drip Tray Not Fitted" returned. Had the side panel open in 2 minutes as I never put back the 2 oval tamper resistant screws. Yup, same inboard micro -witch was popped up again. Upon closer investigation found 2 tiny plastic pieces in the bottom of the unit, these are retainer clips that are meant to hold the micro-switches in place. They must have broke off during shipment, no doubt from an impact drop. Sure enough the shipping box bears the mark on the front right corner. Clever solution ... foam earplugs, rolled them up and placed one above each micro-switch, foam expands and holds the switches solidly in place.
Thank you very much for the informative video. I have called Jura U.S., 4 times to try to have my z6 serviced but all I can do is leave a message and then they call back either 4,6, or more hours later when I can’t take the call, so that leaves me no choice but to repair this machine myself . Your video will allow me to attempt my own repair. I can only find part 2 of your video, is part 1 available? Thanks again!
By the way; Anybody knows how to get it skips the need to press knob upon every power up? How i wished it rinses automatically without the need to press knob manually.
I'm wondering if there is a way to remove only the pre-grounded coffee pipe without having to take out everything. In the video it seems it's one of the few things that didn't come off. That thing is a mess. So much mold and dirt. I need to clean that thoroughly. Also, maybe the funnel attached to the grinder? I see that it's basically made of two pieces. One came off in the video, but the other one seem stuck to the grinder and you only took it off after the grinder came off. Can that be removed without taking out the entire grinder? Thank you!
Thank you so much for the very informative video on my Jura ENA 9. I have a jammed grinder motor (I am assuming it should rotate once the outer burr is removed but it won't rotate at all). I wonder which steps are required to remove the motor assembly. I have already removed the sides and top. Thank you so much for any assistance/advice.
Thanks Bro. Wonder if you know how to fix the LCD display screen. At the some point, it was slowly gone and didn’t appear even through other buttons next the display screen all works.
I keep getting an error that says to fill the bean container but it is full. I tried to take apart the machine but the round bolts are stoping me in the back, is there another way to remove it? Have you ever had this problem?
Very much a risk to do it in the sink! You can drop small parts down the drain. Do the disassembly and reassembly on a work bench on a towel that will grab the small parts you drop inadvertently. Check this out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d8MjFEXwY2Y.html
if you are installing new burrs, the plastic collar goes on after the lower and upper supports are re-connected. Otherwise, you can't reconnect them. This hung us up for 1/2 hr until we figured it out.
Hi I tried to follow and removed my Ena 9 Brew group and now cannot remember the correct position to put it back in. I put in back and while rewinding after the power is on, it get stuck near the top of the spooling shaft. Any help appreciated, thanks
Btw, to other owners watching, once you have removed the sides and top parts it is possible to remove both the grinder and the brew unit without touching the electrics. I just needed to disconnect the pump’s water tube and you can tilt the grinder out slightly to pull all the bits out
