I'm Nikki Riehle, I was born and raised in Indiana. I have been creating as long as I remember. I have not, nor do I ever think I will settle down to just one medium of art. I love to do anything from crafting, sewing, drawing, to film and media work. Right now I am aspiring to be a traveling and lifestyle videographer/photographer. I currently have a new RU-vid channel that is just a small foundation to document my growth while I learn more and advance my skills. Don't get me wrong, although this is my current focus, nothing can stop me from doing other forms of art. I believe God puts everyone on this earth with many gifts. Life is not about what gifts you have but what you do with them here on earth. I'm Nikki, and I was created to create. So that's just what I'm going to do.
Can someone please help me. I have tried doing this through Canva and cricut design space and the font grayscale keeps coming out as an outline and not filling in. How do I correct this?
How long did it take to do one mat of envelopes? Just the cricut writing part? My boss wants me to do a project for him and needs and idea on how long it would take to address 200. Thanks!
My gel pen doesn't fit into my Cricut. I'm just borrowing from a friend to do these invites, so I'm not particularly skilled with it, but is it that different models do not fit normal gel pens? I am using an Explore Air 2
Hi Nikki , sorry I don’t know if you said it in the video , but did you mirror the text ? I’m doing the same project for my wedding seating chart. I’ve only done t shirts before this and had to mirror the design before cutting . Thanks so much ❤
Easy to follow along but once I uploaded into design space and changed from cut to pen, it shows the fonts as outlines?? I used the same fonts as in the video. Can anyone help me out?
omg. from the canva recommendation to the simple tip of moving the little while wheels to the side so my ink doesn't smear... SO grateful you made this video. thank you!!
If uploading from canva to design space is there any way to have the circut “write” the text rather than outline? Or can that only be done if you start in circut design space? Thank you!
Another person getting married just here to say THANK YOU. Printed around 300 invitation envelopes and this video was our BIBLE in doing this, thank you so much again
Thanks so much for this tutorial! This has made putting together invites so much quicker! Definitely some trial and error at first, but they come out so nicely!
Amazing! You just saved me hours of time trying to figure out how to print the place names I had already made on canva individually. Thank you for your template!!
OMG you saved me! after trying for hours to figure out a faster way to address so many envelopes this is by far the best, easiest way. THANK YOU THANK YOU
I've literally never commented on a RU-vid video before but I have to to tell you THANK YOU!! I've been searching high and low for an easy way to do this to draw on multiple envelopes for my wedding invitations. This tutorial is truly a lifesaver. So amazing, thank you!!!
@@kelseykenney4653 So the sticky template was tearing my envelopes so I stuck copy paper on the sticky part and used two small strips of painters tape to hope the envelops in place.
I am assuming this would work somewhat similar with the Silhouette Cameo? my MOH practically smacked me upside the head when i said i wanted to hand address all of the envelopes because i wanted metallic gold. She was like you dummy
Do you have any suggestions for what fonts to use on canva? (or another font from a website or cricut access) It seems every time I pick a font from them and take it to the cricut I lose the writing when it comes to making it.
Just wanted to share some tips for anyone trying this now! I tried both on Canva and Cricut Design space and I found it easier to just do it on Design Space personally. Same method with the square box template so you can see where you need to place it, but I inserted my own text rather than uploading the file from Canva. If you choose a font that is designed for Writing within design space it will write properly rather than just the outline! If you are getting lots of smudges/lines and spots of ink try lifting the pen up slightly so it isn't as far down and that solved the problem for me. Make sure you hide the square box template or it will start cutting after! Good luck :-) thanks for the video it was very helpful.
