We no longer have that, what we have is unelected bureaucrats ,along with career politicians. Sounds like a mafia shakedown, accuse him of committing fraud against a bank with a property in Florida, then demand he pay the state of NY 350 million dollars, or the state seizes all his properties. There was no trial to determine if he committed fraud, though. The judge ruled summarily he was guilty, the trial was to see how much he owed. The judge claimed Mar-a-lago was only worth 20 million dollars, despite nearby properties a tenth the size being worth more. The financiers who provided the loan, testified that he did not commit fraud and attempted to prove it by showing their appraisal of the property. The judge barred evidence, as he had already ruled a guilty verdict. Sham.

@@cheesehead9980 These are publicly available facts. The ruling was done prior to the trial, it's called a summary judgement, the trial was to see how much he owed based on the initial ruling.

It’s not a question of who’s right and wrong it mostly has to do with fake news and fake reporters. We don’t really know what’s going on behind the scenes. If we did it would be obvious to everyone that Trump is guilty or not. Right now it’s not obvious therefore we have people agreeing he is guilty and people disagreeing.
So let me get this straight....Trump "lied" about the value of his property to get a loan from a bank annnnnnnd the bank didnt bother doing its own due diligence at all? Seriously? The banks didnt bother to look into it and just took him at his word. Ya that doesnt make sense. There isnt a single entity on earth thats going to allow you to claim the value of your assets if youre trying to get alone and not check to see if its accurate.
Maybe because Trump is famous enough there isn’t any income check?! This is new to me to see this happen. Also Trump may have loans on his properties as another form to take loans out of banks. He uses his buildings to take out home equity loans.
Personally I don’t think so. It’s always the other way around, which is completely unfair. Usually people owe Uncle Sam (the government) money but when uncle Sam owes people money it takes so much time or it never happens.
