As a Big fan from South America and after years of following all the participants from Street Outlaws and subsequently the No Prep Kings Show, I created this channel to voice my opinions and thoughts on the Rules, Cars, Races, Participants, etc on No Prep Kings/No Prep Racing in General..... Shawn would have had a very big advantage, that he earned. When they decided to end the season early they needed to pay out the purse. In stead, they are once again screwing the people who acted in good faith because nobody is forcing them to honor their end of the deal. You could not pay me enough to race for such incompetent, dishonorable people. The teams should get together and either demand the removal of the ones who do this every season, or start their own series.
Ok it’s a good format but I liked it better before and I’m a murder nova fan,not his fault that everyone wasn’t as consistent as he was and now he’s in first place their changing the format come on man .your car has to be consistent all year, go get them Shawn 405 to the front
If you finish outside the top 10 in the season points then in my opinion you shouldn’t have a good chance to win the whole enchilada. In the format shin here the leader (Shawn) gets a #1 seed for the first round of the first race only. Wow, what a reward! Makes so much sense!
I totally disagree! Were you not paying attention? He only gets the #1 seed in the first round of the first race! All subsequent rounds are by chip draw. This makes it wide open for ANYONE in the field.
Will be interesting, they should of not done the ladder and just set there points and still draw chips, but this could be really interesting, maybe this is something there trying now for next year a ladder format.
This is exactly what I predicted. 1st races 16th in every 1st round of the event and goes until 8th races 9th. They should give racers who have are tied for position in points only 3 test passes because the race off is basically another test pass that gives Robin Roberts and Guiseppe Gentile data that Ryan Martin and Murder Nova don't get.
But only for the first round! To have been fair they should have matched all the racers up in subsequent rounds according to true seeds. This format is a joke. It gives almost nothing for the racer who finished first in a long, grueling season.
36 for turbos only or 36 for everyone with all other power additves being penalized +100 .Birdman and Chuck are coming back around and if you see some of their passes when those turbos kick in and they have traction lookout!
Here's my idea... Other than 1, Take away ALLL Rules (make it a *true* Outlaw class).. The only rule is - *"No Wheelie-bars"* Any tire, any weight, any overdrive, small tire - big tire tire, everything goes. Just NO Bars! That would make it interesting for sure!
The organizers of NPK screw over the drivers, sponsors, and fans every season treating this sport like a reality show full of children. These teams put their lives and wallets on the line, busting their humps every year only to have the rug pulled out from under them every time by people who can't schedule a track, maintain simple business relationships or keep their word. Hell, 7 seasons in and they think the bs drama of an instant green is worth destroying the legitimacy of every other pass. It's time to replace that element or move on.
I can not think of a time I was more happy about a race or event outcome...honestly. I truly believe all of NPK is smiling with this one. Beyond happy for Scooter, his family, team, fans & Nola. My heart feels Lizzy is smiling for sure.
If Shawn doesn’t go into No Prep Elite with some kind of advantage then he got screwed. It’s not fair for him to be leading the points at the end of the regular season and then just get put back to zero like everyone else. There should definitely be something for being the points leader at the end of the regular season. I hope they don’t screw him and I’d love to see him win the elite class too
How is that fair at all. So all Shawn has done to this point in the season, to be #1, means little to nothing. Since now technically, 1-16 are all tied up at 0. You could basically be below average all year, barely make it into the top 16 & then boom, you're tied with 1st place.😂
Every since they said that there would be a Elite 16 they have said that the winner of that would be crowned Season 7 Champion! If you see some of my remarks since the beginning I have been asking about will the points carryover or will the points be reset. Boosted wouldn't tell me yes or no when questioning him in person in July! Boosted said yesterday that Shawn will receive something for finishing top in points. All of you need to stop BITCHING as Shawn didn't even lead in the points for most of Season 7. It's all a work in progress and Jim and Sam are still looking to improve! Shawn has done well and the season isn't over so he doesn't deserve to be crowned Season 7 Champion until the season has officially ended
