I downsized to a smaller kayak cause I'm getting old and it's easier for me to load and unload. Kayak fishing is great fun, and you meet remarkable people with similar interests!
I used a Scotty track mount and a piece of thin plastic to make an adapter to attach the controller to the track mount on the kayak. I tried to add a picture but couldn't do it.
Since that video I added an adapter plate from Navarre that straightens out the alignment. It worked okay but I was afraid it would be damaged if I hit something in the water. The adapter plate straightens it out so if I hit something the motor will just kick up.
