Burial doesn't do enough; aegis only works if you leave lightsworns on endboard - use blazar as negate (fortunately it also returns when banishing for cost after droplet...)

As a Rescue-ACE player who has done relatively well with the deck. I completely agree with the placing in the list. The deck has been feeling worse and worse the older it gets. The weird part is, with the fiendsmith engine, the deck feels even worse, it's just a pile at this point and just not coherent enough to be a good deck. And that's why I've decided to not play Rescue-ACE for the EU wcq
@@Lampi_Ygo currently testing memento, going first the deck is incredibly strong, but going second is a big problem rn, it relys too much on non engine going second, which is fine if you know what non engine is optimal for the format, which is hard to tell with fiendsmith being a thing.
To me it feels like SE should be in meta, Ritual beast should drop one, with yubel FS and tenpai dropping to challenger. With yubel FS it would be because of the awkward draws/bricks that deck has to play and with tenpai it would be because SE is favored in that matchup.
At what point does a format become a droll format? When I look at the match ups it seems to have a horrible spread if main decked. It’s still very weak against Tenpai, stun, SnakeEye, branded. I understand the FiendSmith engine is weak into droll but the match up spread overall does not warrant main decking droll.
@@eddiegomez2200 Even with some weaker matchups it seems sufficient if it’s good enough against the best 2 decks and in our opinion both of these are Fiendsmith decks.
@@Lampi_Ygo I guess it’s a call but according to the numbers right now droll is a 50/50 whether or not it’s a -1 OR a huge tempo swing. Seems incredibly risky for a large scale tourney. Especially with closed moon, most decks aren’t going to be starting with Fiendsmith rather bridging into it. Taking a -1 against most of the meta just doesn’t seem correct.
Finally someone sees how stupid Zealantis is and that this card needs absolutely to be banned. Many people forget this card in their predictions. But unfortunately, he forgot Accsscode Talker, who also needs to go
@@Alex-Omega I can see the logic behind hitting Accescode. But I never saw it as too problematic besides gatekeeping other Link 4’s. But maybe that’s enough of a reason.
@@Lampi_Ygo Nah, the fact that Yubel players can summon him easily, using the Unchained lines is enough. Accesscode OTKs as easily as Zealantis and should have been banned years ago already as he carried every Cyberse deck
fiendsmith broken engine will just open the gates for random bans left and right to cards that otherwise would never get banned just so they keep the fiendsmith around and sell their boosters.. should get the SHS treatment and ban the link 1 from the very beginning..
Fenrir/kash as a splashable engine doesn't feel problematic for the game. It is a fun card to use and doesn't feel overbearing to play vs. Limiting it doesn't even do much since people playing it with unicorn just up the field spell count. You are only hurting people that want to play it as non engine. I would rather a hit to the actual main gameplan of snakeyes instead of consistency hit and apo hit since they can just flex into other end boards and play fiendsmith/melodious engine to make up for the drop in consistency.
they were talking about infinite forbidden being possibly the best set of all time but i think power of the elements blows it out of the water when i comes to best sets in recent years
UNBAN THE PLAN!!! 🕵️♀️ As someone who has loved Spyral since the release of Double Helix. ( and maybe I’m outdated and wrong ) but now a days if you can’t fit like 12 hand traps in your deck it’s not AS able to top it seems. Spyral has so much engine that it needs to be as consistent as it can be that I just don’t think it will be anything more then like a tier 2.5 deck.
interesting takes on the banlist, but from all those hits, nothing would change in the game. The cut copies in SE would just get replaced with fiendsmith.
Going after Skill Drain will happen 100% unfortunately. My one and only true love 😭. Prosperity to 1 is a weird thing; originally I was all up for it, but I think besides Tenpai mostly Rogue Decks need it to be "strong enough" And heavy storm is harassing me enough in Tengu Format and Edison. Please don't free it
I really hope konami goes for the jugular and actually has the balls to ban a snake eye card, preferably original sinful spoils. My problem with Konami actually going for wanted is mainly that diabellstar is a cool card that can set 9 different cards that even in decks that would benefit from setting a different one (illusions setting the trap that specials for example) there’s no reason to and the deck would be better just summoning jet synchron or ash. For snake eye and its variants it removes 8 starters, makes bonfire a worse extender if you have to grab poplar and most importantly changes the deck from the boring one card combo into a more interesting deck that would necessitate a greater engine requirement. Ash going to 1 as well would be good too but wanted is not a problem card inherently. I think as a community we need to start asking Konami to limit branded fusion haha. Branded is a deck that everyone only complains about the “problem of the week” cards. Sanctifire ban is good but long term we need to demand a branded fusion limit. I hope to Christ they hit tenpai in some way. Best thing they could do is ban magna so they can’t full combo in my end phase while also disrupting my plays. Just ban magna please god, let us have chaos space back for its sins
Tearlaments' only problem is going 2nd, the Fiendsmith engine gives the deck a 1.5 card combo that isnt relying on mills that end on Toad, Kaleido, a tear-trap, and more. Mulchummy is also a level 4 aqua water, Phantazmay is really good in the upcoming format and Rescue Ace Impulse with Fire attacker may give Tear enough tools to perform, why it should at least be put in high potential
Imo we r getting to a point where it might happen something like what happened with vanguard, but with the luxury of a banlist. The powercreep of snake-eye fiendsmith is too big, we for shure need a reset banlist that touches it in a big way, ban Beatrice, apo, limiting skill drain to one at least, along with deck lockdown and other floodgates banned, Albion banned, shifter, barrier, simul archfiend, shared ride and other lingering floodgates also banned… there is too much bullshit rn in the game. But if a list like what I just mentioned happens, we would be getting the healthiest, most fun, most balanced, greatest format of all times, at least in my opinion
I think if u ban Apo, IP, Zealantis, Beatrice and sanctifier the game would be in a much better spot. One card you haven’t talked about is birth. Kashtira as an engine is so stupid to be put every deck. If they choose to not ban shifter / limit it I would love to see Gamma to come back so at least I wont get shiftert in DP. I think gamma promotes smart gameplay and gives also decks more chances going second. With barone banned it’s also not a Omni on board right away they can also ban omega if they want I just want an answer to cards like shifter / droll. Wild take I know ..
@@TheKarlBaum I was also always a fan of Gamma. But lately in Master Duel I have realized how crazy the card really is. The card is fine going second and really good going first in a lot of cases too.
Ja aber meine Meinung ist diese karte die unfairste ,sie lässt snake eyes mit Diabellstar auch als engine in Infernoid synagieren und kannst wie jetsynchro und Fire King engine viel zu Konstant spielen. Falls die verboten wird kann man snake eyes nicht mit andere Feuer thema so einfach rein splashen und wanted auf 3 ,nimm mal an lässt white wood ,konstanter spielen.
