wish we had a long video about the engine and transmission. i always wondered how a fwd engine can be put in the back. how do you shift gears now. thanks
The Volkswagen independent front suspension’s very much in keeping with the Porsche design, they were originally based on Volkswagen Beetles. They also had a wide five stud pattern on the wheels too. If you want a more modern engine, you might be interested to know that Kennedy Engineering sells engine adapter plates so you can bolt the Suzuki engine to the Volkswagen Beetle transmission.
