bunkers can't be destroyed from outside hence why the design is like that.

For me when I put a floor on the half wall and then put a stair on it the twig floor was sticking out a bit on the other side of the wall which made it so you could throw a bean can or f1 grenade to destroy it

NVM, I tried upgrading it and the stronger skins all block entrance with a lip at the top edge. Fun base though, I built one on a test server, going to try it live now :)

If 2 of them are garage doors it's gonna be more expensive than just raiding through honeycomb

You can do that actually but for me I prefer roof to make it cramped for the shotgun. Also less building cost :>

The campfire won't give you enough height for the peek but you can try if it works for you :>

upd So i built this base and even got raided. idk how many rockets they spent, but it's a small solo base so I didn't expect it to withstand a serious raid and besides this i didn't finish building, i was low on hqm, didn't upgraded all the walls in the core and didn't put tourets. In term of comfort i like it, small but comfy, i have everything i need. But defending from a raid is very hard, no peeks inside base, no room to move, no battle spawn placec, so it is very hard to hide, surprise and shoot raiders. It is common for small solo bases, but anyway i just want to share real experience.

you can actually place it just like in the video it just takes a bit of practice to get the hang of the placement, rust's snapping mechanic kind of makes it hard to pull off but you should be able to do it

its really not, couple of recycle runs or just accumulate over time. Outpost 16x scopes and recycle them. As a solo I have had bases that have been 400 hqm upkeep because im like fug it, i have excess scrap

​@@InkPlaystotally agree, I play solo and very infrequently due to work / kids and 100hqm takes very little time. I play console, so always vanilla, you can literally hit road signs for 10/15 minutes and get 100 HQM. Or do a Dome run and you'll not be far away (you can also use the diesel at Dome at the quarry too).
