if the only thing that sticks out to you in this song is his mention of larger people. then maybe eminem is not for you . 😂 enjoy it and appreciate his. legendary talent and humour 🫶🏻
Slim shady is the cartman of rap loll dude says the most insane shit for fun because it pisses people off. He was a troll before the internet was a thing
This is a song from his second album he was being protested against all the time so he made this song to basically say f you to everyone who was causing trouble with him
😂 why would they tell you to listen to this 😂😂😂😂 maybe start with Spotless Mind, Alive and Well, Eternal Sunshine, The Pressure, Blue Dream, Stay Ready, What a Life… just to name a few of her songs.
Drake titled the song “Marvin’s Room” because he recorded the track in Marvin Gaye’s personal studio. I watched him perform this song earlier this year. One of my favorite songs.
I think he just went down the party hole before the prescription stuff so pretty much everything from weed to MDMA, hopping around by the power of coke to the magic land of psychedelics and back.
He did not say it to her He had her in the studio to say it herself That is why he is undisputed in the booth. Nope it was all real no autotune or fake ass writers
Oh my beloved Chester ❤ never resented always missed and loved... Best male vocalist... The prettiest smile and the saddest eyes. I hope I'll get his strength and end my miseries and pains
Just to clarify, em lost proof and had an overdose. While going through rehab and withdrawal he got addicted to true crime. There are so many serial killer references: Wilder(beauty pageant killer) Ted Bundy, Central Park killer, Son of Sam, there was also a serial killer that kidnapped women to have kids….Bishop Gary Heidik
5:23 I've listened to this song probably 1000s of times ever since this album came out...........How I never picked up on this is beyond me! Well done for the quick read on that one 👍👍
This at the time was called Horrorcore. Eminem produced many artists who flexed that particular rap style. His group D12, King Gordy, and Bizarre. He was heavily influenced by Esham who is the horrorcore legend
What this generation doesn't really understand is that he wins when you provide any emotional reaction. That's what his whole game is about. Testing your limits the best way he knows how.
I believe not caring what people think is healthy in moderation, but there are times where people are genuinely right how about things that really can affect you negatively. I think people take the whole don't care about what other people think mindset to a level that can be unhealthy and mistake criticism for being rude.
4:35 Mike has developed his own flow which is a blend of a bunch of his hip-hop influences, mostly from the boom-bap era of hip-hop in the 80s and 90s. Biggie Smalls and Big Daddy Kane are possibly his two biggest influences and that’s very apparent if you’re familiar with either of them. Imagine him rapping behind a 90’s NY Jazz hip-hop beat, and his flow will feel more ‘in-place’ and maybe give it a bit more context. People don’t understand what he’s about because his subject matter and the music he’s rapping to is often a lot heavier than that of his forebears, so a lot of the folks who would appreciate him as a lyricist and a rapper don’t gravitate to his music. And those who do become his fans often can’t trace back to how he got so good at rapping, because people usually got into Linkin Park from more of a rock background. Mike is great and I will sing his praises until I can longer speak or type.
