When you car is not in moving condition and engine is on and AC is also on naturally fuel is burning. SO the mileage will be less after very minute of being idle running of engine.
Guys while on a highway drive the car with 80 to 90 kmph. you will get better fuel economy with AC and another factor how much passenger in a car is also affect mileage .
Anuj Chourasia company has claimed mileage of 19-20 kmpl of petrol variant and 22-27 kmpl of diesel variant of baleno. all the time MID Wont be correct, further it depends on your driving sense. if you are driving more than 60 km a day or monthly more then 1200, then choose diesel variant otherwise petrol is more powerful..!!
fist show can from out side then step into the cabin then drive and show the mileage of petrol.....and remember don't edit video....post uncut video....

Dear Ranjan ji what ever mileage the display give, I am getting the same mileage. I will fill petrol in my Baleno as per the display given by the car odometer. I will fill the tank upto full and then after driving 500-600 kms then I will ask the petrol pump employee to put petrol in litres. What ever kilometres run divide by the mileage shown by the car you will get the details of fuel consumed by the car. Then order the petrol pump employee to fill the same as per calculation and it will always come correct. If your calculation goes wrong then it is not the fault of the car, it means that the petrol pump is not putting the correct fuel and is cheating the consumers.
Dear Abhimanyu. Don't go for i20 petrol if you are searching for a car that gives you good mileage. In i20 you will the power and pick up more as compared to baleno but the mileage won't be more than 18kmpl on highways. But in case of baleno this is a very good vehicle beautifully tuned and designed. You won't feel jerks and ride will be smooth in baleno and mileage also will be unbelievable. One of my friend is also getting the same mileage on highway from Baleno Xeta. Now the choice is your. I don't say that hyundai vehicles are not good. But they will not give you the mileage as claimed by the company. But in case of maruti you will will always fetch more than what company claimed.
Dear I don't like the projector headlamps of Baleno. The light in night time is not upto the mark. If we compare projector headlamps of Toyota Fortunner that baleno stand no where.
Mamu Baba Bro I am stating this again and again that don't put normal air in tyres. Always use nitrogen to inflate the tyres. I can assure you that you won't feel the jerks and it will be smooth just like as if you have put 29 PSI of normal air.

Dear fill nitrogen in tyres and keep air pressure of 34 psi. You will see what I am quoting is correct. Why I will misguide any one. I am not a MSIL employee. I work in Central Govt.
Aditya Shinde But dear when you are filling nitrogen you won't feel jerks as felt in normal air. Nitrogen is inactive gas and helps in increasing the mileage. I have been doing this and the results are in front of you. Believe it or not your wish.

This is petrol car and in cities I get a mileage of 19-20 Kmpl. Please put 30-PSI of air pressure and don't press the accelerator again and gain unnecessary. Drive it softly just like a baby. I will give you the mileage which I am quoting.
There is a trick in this video. After putting the fuel I drove the car only on highway for 2-3 km (which you can see from the distance covered) Just putting little bit of speed and then putting on neutral. That is why it is showing mileage of 29.8 Kmpl.

It will give you the mileage which I am quoting. CVT model will give around 15-16 Kmpl for sure in city.
