When Catia analysis something it covers the whole part with many small "octrees" or "pyramids". When you change the size of the octrees or "pyramids" Catia can fit in more (or less) octrees into the part. (Small size = more octrees). The more octrees you have the more precise and accurate numbers you will have. in this case the user gets a "Global error rate" of 41% ( 5:16 in the video) if the user would change the octree size to 1mm the "global error rate" would be much less, maybe 5 %. And with a smaller error % your desplacment numbers and von mises etc. becomes more trustworthy. The problem with small octrees is that the calculate/compute will take much longer time.
I don't understand what the purpose is to have such a low-quality surface... Is it for Prototyping? If so, most CAM software can use STL files for machining.
In my object green colour thing that is OCTREE TETRAGEDRAL (which u reduce size ) is not shown.......what can i do for that.....respond quickly please....
