In answer to the grenade throw, I don’t find it that preposterous. I once threw a dart at a wooden door. It bounced right back and stuck in my head very close to my left eye.
the sand is not hard to achieve. it is basic vertex displayment with a shader and a texture. Also, sand doesn't react like that. This is a bit more like snow
The first one is mostly for how cool it looks. The 2nd one though is funnier because both the player and boss end up killing each other at the same time.

@@Zadamanim then make it toggleable. I mean it's just some viewing angle, no character movements needed, so like, everyone could literally be sitting in a single place to view the match among the other "spectators"

7:30 The helldiver music coming on as he does this really makes the scene. Only a Helldiver would be crazy enough to ride a charger like this and fight off other bugs in the process.
