Welcome aboard our Vanlife adventures around Australia! 🦘
We're a couple on a mission to explore the wonders of this incredible continent from the comfort of our cozy van. From the red deserts of the Outback to the lush rainforests of the tropics, we're on a quest to uncover the hidden gems and lesser-known treasures that make Australia truly unique. Join us as we navigate the twists and turns of life on the road, sharing our encounters with wildlife and the kindness of strangers we meet on our journey.
Along the way, we’ll be sharing our tips for van life, our favourite camping spots, and the delicious meals we cook up in our tiny kitchen.
Get ready to be inspired, entertained, and perhaps even tempted to hit the road yourself as we document our adventures. So buckle up and join us as we chase sunsets and create memories that will last a lifetime.
You will no doubt notice that there will be loads of negative comments about Canberra. There was a huge battle between other Australian cities to be declared the Capital city of Australia. Canberra was set up in the middle of nowhere to settle the fight and the other cities have bitterly hated Canberra ever since then.
Where they MASSACRE kangaroos for supposedly being a threat to damaging grass in National Parks yet they allow cattle into those areas. Sickening place.
great job guys, this was so nicely put together, showcasing my back yard. Glad you enjoyed this part of Australia and hope you get to come back sometime and check out a bunch more. Good luck with your adventures and your channel, I know how much effort you must be putting in, subscribed ✌🏻
Thanks for a lovely video, really enjoyed. Some chillout games that I'd recommend would be Dave the Diver, Sea of stars, tinykin, the forgotten city. Greetings from India.
Great to see you guys! And thanks for answering my questions in your previous video about gaming (and this one). I'm now looking for the "right laptop" to replace my desktop system. You mentioned before a low power option? not sure what that is. Looks like I'll be on the road mid-september. It's a bit later than I'd hoped, but ahh well my potential Port Douglass trip can be moved to next year.
That's unfortunate, but better late than never. With the low power option, it's the thermal design power, each laptop drains a different amount of power depending on the parts and some companies even lower the total power of certain parts, it just uses less energy and those laptops might not get as hot, lower power is good for a van as it won't drain the battery too quickly
Hi guys. Good to see you having fun. Always love the way and places you “serve” coffee ❤. And for games, you know we play geocaching. Always hidden gems to find. There are some along the Mackenzie! Clear skies!
Not certain, but I think the tree Cecilia is taking a picture of at 6:28 is the "Budget Tree" (use google). Basically it turns bright red in May - normally just as the budget is announced. You might have found a cafe inside Parliament House (I think). Did not know about the tennis courts (let alone free showers) at MoAD.
Over priced, cold and full of lefties and overpaid civil servants and politicians that voted to divide Australia on racial grounds. The only good thing about Canberra is that it’s away from the rest of us and thank god for that.
Please don't post too many of these pro Canberra videos, we don't want the rest of Australia to find out what a hidden gem it is and want to move here and ruin it hahahaha
Question for you guys working with brands: for the ones that want to send you product, how do you manage that? Do you have a PO Box (not sure if that’s a thing in aus) and what do you do with the stuff afterwards? Awesome content!
In Aus, we can nominate a post office as our address anywhere in Australia, and you can change it as many times as you like, so if we know in the next week where we'll be, we will have something shipped out to a post office a few hours ahead of where we are. And most of the stuff we've shot for we actually keep, we have a lot more space than it seems in the van as well 😅
@@dazandcecilWhile you're in the area you might want to check out Cockington Green, which is a miniature scenery place. And Northside Garden Cafe is a very nice Filipino restaurant nearby.
Unless you get sick hospital services are worse than rural NSW. Want to rent or buy a home? Bad luck, local Government is keeping land prices inflated and some of the worst in the world, $600,000 being cheapest for a normal land only house block. land is in abundance and not limited by the ocean but in the middle of the NSW country side…
Heyyo! I saw ur post in newtubers and came to say hi. I'm also making vanlife vlogs and we seem to be a similar size 🤙 thanks for the tips! I'm gonna have to check out your starling video, I've been using a netgear nighthawk hotspot and think I want to upgrade
