@@WIPsandKits that’s hilarious! I’ve often thought that’d be nice to stitch in church…but there’s no way for me. I need too much paraphernalia - lights, magnifier, arm chair, etc. 🤣🤣🤣
My first time seeing your work. So surprised at the similarities. My favorite part of stitching is borders, too. You're the first person I've heard say that. My second favorite is alphabets. I have a wall of just alphabet samplers and another wall for other reproduction sampler stitching.
@@RaymondStitches well, it’s AMAZING to hear from another stitcher that loves to stitch boarders! And alphabets! I can’t wait to have a sampler wall!!!! I haven’t finished many things yet (too many WIPS lol) 😂. Thank you so much for watching and for the supportive comments! XOXO Heidi 🥰😘❤️
I have Florence, but haven't started her yet and l bought the silks to go with. She looks so pretty, silks are from Victoria Clayton. Enjoyed seeing your RU-vid, thanks was fun watching. Carolann from Duluth, Minnesota ❤❤😮😊
Jackie, Comfort Stitching, suggested you, so thought I’d take a look. I started with Episode 1 and came right over to Episode 2. I figure I have a ways to go, I have many charts, all kitted; but I have very few wips….so far 😂. I’ll be back 💛
@@pegyounger3998 thank you so much for hopping over and watching my videos! That Jackie is a peach!!! I’m so excited to know another kitter! XOXO Heidi 🥰😘❤️
Thank you!!!!!! You’re the best! This comment made my day and I love you too! Thank you for watching and commenting and y’all come back now, ya’ hear?!?! XOXO Heidi 🥰😘❤️
So glad I found you ( thank Kim G 😊 for the recommendation). And love love love seeing your kitted items. I absolutely love kitting my projects. When I’m stitching and itching to just start all the things, I satisfy that urge by kitting. So like you I have a ton kitted. But hey I love petting all my pretties. Keeps me motivated. Subscribed and now off to watch another.
@@kimwatson3383 oh, just WONDERFUL to have another kitting friend! 🥰😍 Thank you, Kimmy G!!! It is SO RELAXING to me to pick out the threads, floss drop them, make a copy of my chart, and finally to pick the linen. The next favorite thing for me is cataloguing all my kits as well! Thank you SO MUCH for watching and commenting! WELCOME!! XOXO Heidi 😘🥰♥️
Hi Heidi, I'm a new watcher and follower, I'm from the Netherlands and I love your work, patterns and choices. Thanks for making this flosstube! If I have time I'm gonna watch your previous episodes. Happy stitching!
I don't know if anyone has said this on any of your videos yet, but I wonder if there is no W because the M should be stitched upside down??! I'm not sure if that is accurate or not but it just came to mind! Anyways, I really enjoy your videos!
Heidi… you and I are cross stitch twins! I love stitching borders and eyelets too! You should check out Mary Barr by The Wishing Thorn. It has a beautiful border, and a large eyelet alphabet that wraps around a middle square house design. Warning: the central design is almost full coverage. Took me a while to finish it, but it’s so textured and tactile. I’m ashamed to confess it is still unframed. Love seeing all your lovely sampler work from September. You’ve got some great stitches on the go. Carol in TX
@@caroldidier1949 oooooohhh!! I’d love to see your finish of that!!!!! Are you on Instagram?!?! So good to meet a twin!! 🤗 Thank you so much for watching and sharing!!! XOXO Heidi 🥰😘♥️
Wow, you have so many beautiful patterns started and kitted up. I love them! The fabric choices and floss are so pretty. Have a great week, and I can't wait to see you soon .
@@lorrainebergstrom9391 thank you sososo much!!!! It really means so much to me! Thank you for watching and making me feel so good about recording Flosstube episodes. XOXO Heidi 😘🥰♥️
Great video as always, Heidi! I was wondering if you have any advice or observations on stitching on that MODA linen from kitten stitcher? The one you stitched the swan on. I bought a couple of yards to stitch large samplers on. I'm not easily annoyed by linens but I have used a couple that made things fiddly and I don't need that on a larger project, lol. Am I setting myself up for failure/frustration? Thanks for the content! -Rebecca
@@spuffed no, I honestly don’t think you are! My suggestion is to try it out on a smaller project first though, which is what I did with Summer Swan. I’m not afraid to stitch a bigger piece on it now. I find Flax from Zweigart more difficult to stitch on than this, IMO. Thank you so much for asking! And for watching!! XOXO Heidi 😘🥰♥️
@WIPsandKits yep, Zweigarts Mallow is a real trial and Flax is better, "but, I'd rather not", so if you think it's better than flax then I'm golden, but I'll try it on something smal. First, for sure. Happy stitching!
As always beautiful stitching. I have never stitched a pattern that I didn’t make changes to it. They were usually my errors! lol. If I can I keep going forward. Sometimes I have to take stitching out and that’s okay. Anything that is hand made or hand crafted will always have slight imperfections which is our own personal signature. A good thing that shows our humanity. Your taste in designs is very much like mine. I thoroughly enjoy each video. 😊
@@ColleenBrandt-tm8jz that means so much to me! Thank you! I used to get all bunged up when I had a mistake. Now I only correct them if I can’t go on with the pattern otherwise. Thank you so much for watching and for your insight! XOXO Heidi 😘🥰❤️
@@hobbiesofholly I don’t know if I’m supposed to, but I do. lol. It helps me to listen for some reason! Thank you so much for watching, sweet friend! XOXO Heidi 😘🥰♥️
@@WIPsandKits we are still watching church online because Graham is immune compromised so I DEFINITELY stitch during the sermon 🥰. I agree, it helps me listen!! I hope you started all those 5 and 10 min starts 🤣
Heidi - what fabulous projects you have ongoing and in your stash! I think the colours you've chosen for BBD Blossom as the Rose are beautiful - thank you so much for watching my Flosstube! Happy stitching - so glad I found you :)

Doggone it now I have a list of things I MUST get. Talk about enabling, sheesh! And for the record I will do the occasional border. I will whine nonstop thru the entire thing. 😮 But a gratuitous border ??Um … NOPE and a DOUBLE border?? Triple nope! 🤦♀️ 😂 I have a list of things to discuss when I see you! You make me smile friend!! ❤❤❤❤ tooodle loooo…..
Oh, mine too!!!! I just LOVE IT!!!! Thank you so much for watching! Let us fossick mightily through our respective stashes this month! lol XOXO Heidi 🥰😘♥️
A gratuitous border by definition you won’t see the likes of me touching that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Aren’t all borders gratuitous ? They are to me. Just torture, pure torture
You can floss tag your 100/3s 😊. They’re more tightly wound than the HDFs and definitely keep their twist! They might get staticky so you use a dryer sheet to run down the floss and then statics gone 😊
@@angelasawyer6714 that’s GREAT to know!!!!! I am VERY tempted because I live to floss drop!!!! Thank you SO MUCH for watching and for the tip!!! XOXO Heidi 🥰😘❤️
