No thanks , upgrade the Tonkin (sourh) with flyovers first , you just make a crap highway with to many cross junctions longer. With that sort of money you could widen road though Byford and Thomas road ,move businesses away from road and make it more village like and pedestrian friendly. Instead you want to rip up more countryside and run a highway though a small village, there has to be a better way and extending to mundijong isn't it
Any danger of actually starting it ?? Only been in the pipeline for about 30 years. By the time it gets done, imagine the population of Byford and surrounds !! Make Tonkin an expressway all the way north to the airport, the same as from the northern suburbs...upgrade Mundijong Rd to link with Kwinana Fwy...and you might just reduce traffic on both Kwinana Fwy and Roe Hwy every day.
