I had got permanent deep filling day before yesterday and dentist told me that it is filled on borderline I may have to do root canal if the pain persist. On first day it was pretty dull ache on my tooth with lot of sensitivity on that area, on 2nd day it was dull too but started suddenly paining at night so couldnt sleep. But now on 3rd day sensitivity has been reduced but tooth aches a lot after drinking hot or cold water after like 5 mins. Should i visit the dentist or wait for some days. I need your advice pls!!!!
For anyone who bleeds a lot i hope it'll help. I was bleeding so badly yesterday after my tooth extraction. It actually took 24hours before it stopped. I followed all the tips that I've learned in youtube but it didn't work until I took a bath earlier. I was about to go to hospital that's why i took a shower and when I was about to go, I noticed that it wasn't bleeding anymore. So guys try to take a bath with a cold water. Might help.
I have a 7-8mm pocket in the upper back left tooth. (This tooth is right next to where my wisdom teeth used to be, and I had a root canal done in the tooth, but my previous dentist put the crown on slightly wrong because the wisdoms were in the way, resulting in debris getting stuck behind the crown for years but I had no idea until recently at my new dentist) I just had my wisdom teeth removed a few months ago and my periodontist mentioned there had been bone loss from the way my wisdom teeth grew in. (And plaque buildup because of the crown/debris situation )I’m so scared . They said I need to do the osseus surgery or a gingivectomy.
You can actually fixate them back by just biting hard to your natural closed mouth position and hold for a few minutes But its not smart to bite your teeth on each other I would suggest somethign clean and soft and also that covers all the teeth then chew and grip with the teeth thats what i did and it worked
I had a full mouth implants 12 on top first and 12 on the bottom, and no one told me any of this. I'm on my first set of temp teeth and still no info how they will take them out.
When i was small means at athe age of 10 ownwardss i used to shake my front permanent teeth as a habitt so now i am 16 and have a little wiggling of my front two teethhh . I am soo fear about thissss pleasee replyy how can solve thisss problemmmm
I just had implant surgery last week, and so far, things are going well. I’ve been following post op instructions to a tee. My dad had dental implant surgery a few months ago. He had a steak a day or two after surgery and developed an infection at the implant site . . . he’s not very bright 😂
Everybody is sharing their story so I guess I will too! About a year ago I got really drunk with a friend and the day after my teeth started to feel loose. Just 3 or 4. I could just put pressure on them with my tongue and I felt them move. It's a year later and I still have all my teeth! I guess it's just a natural part of aging! Been to the dentist and they said they aren't moving. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem. Have a good day everybody!
Wishing you the best for your dental procedure! Make sure to watch both of our videos on extraction AND implant post-op instructions so you know how to take care of the area as things are healing!
You'll definitely want to avoid eating anything while you are numb in the area. After the numbness goes away, you want to make sure to avoid eating anything with small little bits like rice, seeds, etc that can get stuck in the area where the tooth has been removed for a few days. In general, it is a good idea to be careful and mindful with the area until the area has healed.
I just had one of my back molars out last Monday and I just started eating some ramen/pancakes. Take it very very slow. This last week I lived on protein shakes & yogurt.
You'll want to be super careful for the first few days especially if you've had teeth removed on both sides together! You certainly do get extra points :-)
Hlo doctor....my braces were removed 1 month ago... I am using retainers since 1 month back which are similar to aligners... now my front bottom 4 teeth are slightly moving.....so should i stop using retainers for lower teeth....please give me correct suggestion😢...tnk u😊
After we remove braces, we usually recommend patients to wear their retainers all the time, other than when eating, for the first six months, after which we switch to night time only. You may want to reach out to your dentist or orthodontist to see what they recommend for you!
My bottom tooth shifted slightly, is that normal or should I be alarmed? My teeth have always been a bit weird since I was younger so it’s possible I simply didn’t notice it. Is it possible I may just need braces?
It is very normal for our teeth to shift over our lifetime. It happens very slowly so it may be hard to see the movement over time. If you are concerned about your teeth moving, may be a good idea to reach out to your dentist!
Hey doctor! I've been using night braces, similar to aligners, for almost a month. Since yesterday, one of my teeth has been slightly moving. I'm worried it might come out later. Should I stop using the braces?
When you are going through orthodontic or braces treatment, it is very normal for the teeth to develop some mild movement. If you are concerned that it's moving too much, might be a good idea to reach out to your dentist to make sure everything is ok!
At age 38, my right big front upper tooth is slanting and touching my left big front tooth putting pressure on it so it hurts. I went to a dentist who seemed unexperienced as she took 4 x-rays of my front teeth and after discussing with a colleague they could not find anything wrong. I got her to sand down the tooth so it had a 1mm gap. I normally had a pretty big gap(2mm between front teeth). It lasted a week and now it's touching again. What on earth should I do?
It is tough for me to make any official recommendations without taking a look myself. However, if you are concerned about your teeth moving, may be a good idea to get a second opinion from a different dentist or orthodontist! Hope this helps.
I have a hole in my teeth, no pain. After seeing the dentist to have the root canals to that tooth, I feel stress whenever they use hard , big tool to make me to open my mouth, when the root canal done I , I feel pain. I dont know what is going on with the root canal treatment that they said to me that it will help the cavity tooth feel no more pain?
How long has it been since you've had the root canal treatment? It can take up to even a few weeks for the tooth to feel completely normal again, even if it was not bothering you before the treatment started. Hope this helps!
Anybody who’s recently gotten their retainer, PLEASE stick with it. I say that as someone who had braces for 5 years in my youth, and due to underlying health issues, stopped wearing the retainer for a time, and lost a bit of the progress the braces did. Due to being self-conscious and a bit embarrassed now, I’m reconsidering braces at 23 😔 Wearing that retainer will definitely improve the longevity of your smile, and you owe that to yourself. Don’t make the mistake I did!
Yes! I 100% agree with everything you have said! Making sure to wear your retainer will help avoid your teeth shifting again, but if it does happen, we always have the option to get things restraightened with braces or invisalign!
I am sorry to hear that... Hope you are doing better now! I am glad this video was able to get you some good information. Please make sure to share it with any friends or family who may be also going through a dental implant procedure!
I just took out my old crown about 2 weeks ago. When I had the temporary crown on I had nonstop pain. It went away after about a week but I haven’t chewed on the affected side. Now I have my permanent crowns on and chewing makes it very sensitive. The dentist said he may have shaved too close to my nerves when he took out a cavity. I have no pain now- just sensitivity when I chew. Is this enough reason for a root canal?
This should hopefully be a good sign that the tooth is starting to recover! Something to definitely keep an eye on, if it starts to get worse, you may possibly need a root canal in the future.
@@smileonyouandblessedsmile it’s been a while now and I don’t have pain but i can’t chew on it because it’s sensitive. Do you think pulp capping is a good option? Or do you suggest another root canal alternative?
It gets rid of the affected portion of the tooth and creates a rough surface that the resin can bond to. Smooth surfaces will not bond with resin or metals
