1:48 No, us old guys just buy a C6 Z06. No top to remove, full 7.0 liters. I have the same upgraded cup wheels. Launch control only comes on 2010+ cars. I would never buy a used vette with a short-shifter installed. I actually wouldn't buy a C6 going forward. Just go to the GM website and see all the parts that have been cancelled. Love mine, but hate the parts situation now. Thanks
The first time I got into the C6 will be my last, it was like trying to fit into an 🐜 ANTHILL and you’re talking me at 19 years or so. I’ll go for other years, heck even the C4 was better.
No, it is definitely not the best daily. Other than reliability, it is not a good daily at all. It's loud, cramped, doesn't ride that well, doesn't have much torque, and has horrible visibility with the top up, and even top down, it's impossible to see traffic lights unless you lean forward. Add in the fact that it's not going to be useful in any cold climate and.......... Sincerely, a happy 2002 AP1 owner of 13 years.
The car sucks because the rear end is horrendous, and it looks like a Kia from the front. The side view is the only appealing angle,.....at least that's why I got rid of mine.........and bought a c5.
You are hillarious! That's me... (all the old man stuff RFLMAO). I have had my C6 since 2012. It is red... LT3 with HUD and the suckie screen. You are right about the sound system. My wife's 335i (2015) BMW sound system blows this Corvette sound system away! Mine is automatic. Pretty and fast. I just bought a 2017 Model S Tesla s100D. It is an ENERGY HOG! They say it is fuel efficient... BS! Pulls 30 amps at my home charger for 10 hours to charge it to 85%. My electric bill is 1000 per month now! Tesla's dirty little secret. I honestly love my Corvette better than this Tesla Model S! I'm going to sell both and buy a Stingray C7... NO C8! Mid engine seems like a nightmare.
Oh yeah, try removing a top from an older model, like my '85. It's much heavier, plus there's a wrench they supply you, 4 big ass bolts need to be exactly aligned properly or else... Screw them in and out all the time. Then, the slots to put that top in the racer back, covers the stereo speakers, on an angle that the wind is coming in, hitting that top and all you hear is a funnel banging, thump, thump, thumping sound who ever designed that, well,,,,,,,,,,!!! Thank goodness I'm in CA, where I just leave the top in the garage. So stop bitchin' lol. Only kidding!
