Song was good the performance was not. I kinda expected Alice to be creative with this. The Jason looked like he was wearing a 5 dollar Walmart mask and outfit. Also he only came out once.
Let alone, Alice, for the conniseur, 2 magicians, take us on a trip of a double fantasy, into the realm of rare brilliance. One, surely giving Saint Peter, tuitions in harmony & improvisation. The, other, a path breaker, if am not mistaken, who trod on the toes of the male dominated Accoustic bass to carve a niche for herself. The self effacing Jeff Ballard completes the picture. As good as Chick was on electric piano, his acoustic piano sound was equally if not more appealing. There is just a richness of his playing in the trio format.
Alice Cooper's live band give his songs a hard rocking sound that really make them sound better than the recording, catching him on this tour was so great.
What i LOVE and MISS about Chick is that he's such a showman. He graces us with his "non-human" skills lol while still finding ways to showcase his other bandmates and give them the spotlight.... He's a TRUE team mate... RIP to one of the Greats!!!!
