This watercolor piece is mesmerizing! The misty landscape creates such a serene and captivating atmosphere. I love how the subtle details bring the scene to life. Beautiful work!
I truly appreciate your lovely comment! It means a lot to know that the subtle details resonated with you. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!
I love the amount of water you use. I was always afraid of it- too much water. But you have shown me how beautiful it is to let watercolor really be its perfect medium! These poppies are lovely! Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I’m thrilled to hear that my approach has inspired you to embrace watercolor in a new way. Those poppies are a labor of love!
Absolutely one of my favorites of yours! So talented, you are! Thank you for sharing that talent! I still love that landscape forest you did all in sepia! Perfect!
Wow, this modern take on 2 Poppies is absolutely stunning! The watercolor and ink combo really brings out the vibrant colors and intricate details. I love how the modern twist adds a fresh perspective while still honoring the classic beauty of the poppies. Great job!
Once again, thank you so very much. You are a prolific painter! One of my favorite flowers❤ Our youngest granddaughter is named Poppy and the Poppy is my best friend’s flower. Looks like I will need to paint 3 of these. One for each of them, and one for me. Would you mind sharing the colors you use in each video. It looks like you used a scarlet?
I truly appreciate your kind words! It warms my heart to know that my painting resonates with you and your family. I'll make sure to share the colors I used so you can create your beautiful Poppies! indeed i'ts cadmium free scarlet, great color :) so you have work to do :)Poppy is a very nice name, love it :) I added a bit of violet red and blue for the darker parts, not much, and the background, ocher, cerulan blue, and cadmium orange a bit, if I want things darker I always use indigo blue . also the pink color rose quinacridone, mostly part of it, difficult to pronounce lol, have fun, and most of all enjoy :)
Something happened with my previous comment and question. I try again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful artwork! And, to my question… what is that green you use? It’s so misty and beautiful, I can’t understand what it is, not it’s name, nor the brand, but I want to try it!😊
Thank you so much, I use Miniature Paint Brush for Fine Detailing, I love to work with them, they have a fine tip, and if you make smaller watercolors they are perfect. I bought them here. amzn.to/4cQ9OVV
