brought 2 different ones for 2 different shops, drive select works on both but start button both dont work! wired up exactly this video still doesnt work buyers be aware!
Check to see if your Bluetooth board is working. You should see the light when you press on the start stop button. They've revised the original design so I'm not aware of the new ones
Im doing this myself, but im running into an issue with the start and srive select button. Ive got power but thats all, i see blue/gray/white wires. I took pins 3 and 6 then put them into the conversion harness. Ive switched wires but nothing is working. Do you know what the 3 colors are for the conversion harness?
I don't think they sell that ring separately... You have to purchase the full shift knob assembly which makes it a expensive fix. This is what I decided to go OEM plus and get the carbon fiber
The power cable you connected to the usb port instead of the fuse box, does it affect anything? I'm usually skeptical doing that if the supplier supplied a fuse connector
Thanks soo much man!!! Was seeing the same thing. Went straight to look at if the wires were broken or not, and found a snapped wire. Not sure who in Audi had the bright idea to design it this way. Fixed it. Works great now!! BIG THANKS AGAIN!!
Seatbelt light? If you don't have it buckled it whole chime.. Just like regular operation. But there is jot seatbelt light warning as you are using the original belt and buckle
@@wiscopyro if you watch the video the seatbelt occupancy sensor is still plugged in. You will not get any light, I drive the car like this with no lights or warnings which is the reason I made the video to show it
It will fit stock turbo yes. As for the stock pipe I don't think it will fit. You'll need a silicone elbow or some silicone tube something that has a bit more flex
This is NOT a mod. The strip is to prevent water from getting into the engine . It also stops any gases etc from the engine bay from entering through the intake vents for the air conditioner. I value my health more than trying to “make something from nothing “.
Hey, what are the resisters called please ? I'm getting Sparco R100 seats fitted but haven't been able to source the resisters I'll need to avoid warning lights. Also what are the jumper cables as I can't seem to find them either. Im in the UK / Scotland, Thanks
Just in case it was not mentioned. I struggled to get the mirror caps back on. Taking out the side assist sensor (just two clips that push in) and feeding the wire through the hole allowed me to align the peg and the slit clip of the mirror cap. Attach the wire harness then put the sensor in at an angle.
Great video! I got this same kit for my 2019 S5, but I cannot get the Drive Select button to work! The engine start stop button works fine, but the other button does nothing. By chance were there any extra steps you didn't show for the drive select button, or did it just work out of the box? I'm a little confused, because pin 3 and 6 shouldn't have anything to do with the Drive Select button, but you didn't do any other wiring under the center console! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Does it cause the phone to overheat? Which phone model do you have? I was going to place an order, but I am concerned that it may not be compatible with the latest phones. It appears to be designed for older phones with Qi charging capabilities.
@ChampagneS3 really? Do you not have to touch them to adjust flow rate like on my TT? If you do, do you adjust the flow very often? I can't get that stuff stay more than a few months with my wife always touching them.
@@johnmichaels4330 I'll be honest. I don't touch them very often, so that may contribute to it lasting a along as it did lol. But I do like how plsstidip is "reversible" if I change my mind about the color choice later.
@ChampagneS3 yeah, that is a huge plus. That's why I use it on the emblems and such. Makes sense to use inside if you don't have to touch it a lot. I see how that works.
3:04 there’s a jump cut here that skips the cover snapping into place. It really didn’t want to go together, but I put back together a little loose, and it snapped into place when I used the button. Just a note for anybody else who gets stuck at this part. Thanks for the video!
