Hey, im totally new to GEX and LOVE your vids, as a broke SE student I cant afford access to gold so I'm trying my best to create my own GEX chart, I'm using CBOE delayed data on SPX and following your system to plot those nodes on my charts. I feel my SPX GEX is wayyyyy off even what you have here on SPY. However today's action followed your teachings around all my levels to a tee. Is this just luck? my NGEX rolloff was 5410 and that's exactly where we bounced, my COI + PGEX rolloff was 5560 and had a shelf at 5535. Following what you teach priced reacted nicely! But in relation to this vid I feel so far off! ugh! I also created my weekly levels on Tuesday so I used the data of Tu-Fri mid day yesterday.... it seems it worked but I'm just worried it was luck and I'm off! love your stuff currently consuming all you have to offer !!! Hey! Im a college student in SE really digging your approach and the quant aspect of it. I really would love to have access to your tools but I'm just not in a position to afford the gold membership. Nor for those crazy API costs. If I grab CBOE delayed quotes on Friday before close for spx do you think my calcs could be accurate? or Monday after open? trying to work on coding my own GEX charts but dam man this is hard! respect to you!
I like them about 7 to 9 days out on XSP. Go wide, get about .80 on each side with 3 to 5 on each side. Enter when the market is not running, perhaps when its exhausted or turning or supported at a level or sma line. Then be ready to defend as you wait for enough theta decay. If it starts running too early before theta decay kicks in you may have to buy an otm option for protection on the threatened side for around .10. Be prepared to buy 3 if necessary or just take off one or 2 spreads on the threatened side or both. You can also sell another on the winning side. Im not as big of a fan for rolling. Its easy to defend the position if theta decay has kicked in around day 2 by removing spreads on the threatened side especially if done before theres heavy loss on that side. Your shorts should be around 28 points apart and the spreads are 10 wide. I dont focus on delta just width and correct premium.when you have a position with shorts this wide its easy to deal with the normal 4 to 7 point a day moves allowing theta to decay with no real threats. I dont really like 0dte and its not necessary anyways. If the market keeps falling you might flip the losing side into a debit spread. Anyway have fun!

No matter what you do….never ever trade around any point of control It is the price where most of the volume was transacted The price behavior is unpredictable around the POC You may get lucky once but you will lose your account very quickly
Do you offer a trial period for your QUant Trade subscription. I currently use Tradytics for gamma data but I like your quant trade app and dynamic chart. I find the market net flow on Tradytics very useful but sometimes it is tricky to interpret in real time.
Confluence with the Quant Trading App levels, the 0dte GEX strikes, some context around price action, and patience can lead to huge returns when day trading options!
