I can't get the low beam released in my Hyundai Elantra and I made the grip robot at the last Vegas Guinness book of records museum cry while it laughed aty wife. The low beam is the one on the outside where you have to angle your wrist, not the high beam that is exposed.
Yeah absolutely! I've owned two Volkswagens with the 2.5 L. The first one I had was a 5 speed standard/ stick shift in my '07 rabbit/golf and I drove that for 14 years / 150,000 miles. The only thing that went out was the vacuum pump and I wore a clutch out. But was still running great when I sold it. Now I'm driving a 2013 Passat with a little bit newer version of the 2.5 L and I'm about to hit 140,000 miles. I do all the basic maintenance myself oil change and filters and spark plugs are pretty easy. I've driven this car for about 20,000 miles no issues. It does have the DSG automatic transmission which is amazing to drive but if it has issues it gets expensive to fix. If you can get a standard transmission I would recommend it. Volkswagens are definitely a little bit more expensive than something like a Toyota or Honda but reliability has been great for me as long as you don't buy one from somebody who's driven super aggressive. If I was looking for a used car right now I would try to get something under 120,000 miles and less than 12 years old. Unless the car is kept in a garage. stuff over 10 to 12 years old can start to have really bad dry rotted plastic parts in the engine bay especially if you live in a place like Colorado that's really dry and close to the Sun. Both vehicles have been super reliable and haven't had any major issues with but definitely cost a little bit more maintenance-wise. Also keeping up with all of the standard maintenance like oil changes and transmission oil changes a little bit before they recommend is good to do. Finding a good independent Volkswagen shop is important to dealerships tend to nickel and dime you and aren't really any better most of the time.
There was a time when you could just pull off the inside cover and then twist the bulb holder without having to take the entire assembly off. A quick simple 2 minute job. Now they are designed so if you do go to the dealer they will charge an hours shop time labour to replace a one dollar bulb. Cars designed for the dealer service department to make lots of money.
Another useless video. My taillight will not come off no matter what I do. Where is a video for this problem? I have everything removed and using all of my strength and wigling it I can't budge it.

I tried and tried several times to install sun visor clip I ordered on eBay just like you showed towards the end of your video but I just couldn’t get the last part to snap back in. What I did was remove metal clip and used two screws to hold first part in place. The visor clips right in and I don’t have to worry about hooks breaking again😅 It looks a little odd without the cover but not a big deal😊
I love the entrepreneurial spirit! He's just got to get it done sometimes. I've also had trouble with third party parts not fitting in the past and had to go to the dealership.
thanks for this made it super easy in the end, just a tip, when plugging back in I would turn off the power and make sure the circuit isn't live, it could spark/surge and blow the new bulb again.
