I had wrestled in Nashville,TN, the night before, and my parents rode/drove with to this show I was barely 18 fuck off" My mom never returned to ACW My dad made several return trips.
It is indeed legendary. Just like later on this episode, when Mega Loopy the Pudgy Luchador offers Travis fruitcake, and "something sweet to suck on" (a candy cane.) A2NWO humor at its finest.
Hi, Jack. The quality of the tapes vary, mostly due to what equipment was handy at the time of the tapings many years ago. Check out the Full Shows playlist, and zero in on the stuff from 2000 for the best quality. Some of that stuff is presented here even better than when it was broadcast on WACY-TV. Really sad to see the fat guys beating up the playerz in the pink trunks and wracking him before the pin. Announcers were annoying, not even caring to mention the playerz in the ring when they were winning. Who is the playerz wrestler in the pink trunks? Love his in ring attire. He looks like a wrestler who went on to have a good career.
Did Tim Barnake ever go anywhere or have any significant career beyond ACW?. Really sad to see Tim on the receiving end of a squash job by his fat opponent.
Fairly certain this was either Black Friday 2003 or the Saturday after Thanksgiving. G.B. had a snowstorm, and people canceled. I was booked at this show at 2 pm. on the day of the show and drove thru the snowstorm on a normal 4-hour drive. Left the show with a gf.
