I use JG but swapped the Pre emergent and Weed and Feed with just straight Veri Green Lawn food. The combos don’t have enough food or control in them. I apply a seperate weed control and premergent that I think do a beter job. With over seeding every fall and just the straight lawn food plus 3 applications of Liver your Soil and 1 application of Mag-I-Cal I stopped using weed control all together. If I get any I spot treat with Tenacity or Weed Control from Bonide.
Knock-off of the Bluebird. a real beast to operate, but it does the job; the goal is usually 20 to 40 holes per sq. ft. and that is many passes with a tool like this; I own the bluebird version of this.
I know this is an old video but what's that shaft coming out of the right side between the wheels? I just bought a used one and it has a key way groove I was thinking maybe it was for a drive wheel to assist with pushing it
My boyfriend family owns it and he’s such a hard worker. He’s such a good guy his name is Christian he’s been working there since he was 16 he’s just overall one of the best I’ve met dudes there is. ❤❤ love ya
If you just wrap sandpaper around the roller brush of your regular vacuum cleaner or you can order or buy drum sandpaper sleeves if that's what they're called and save money
I've taken soil samples and will take one in a week for the spring. I don't do the fertilizer as I'm not always there. But I have put down magical and love my soil as per Jonathan green. My iron is low. So in the spring I'll put green up. The lawn was neglected it needed grubworm killer and weeds. I reseeded with black beauty ultra. It is darker and we don't water so drought resistant is ok. There are some spots to fix. Finally found a dealer with inventory. Good products. Nice video 📸.
Be prepared to bust your ass, this is not self propelled, God forbid you should have a hilly yard, Do yourself a favor, get the self propelled. or just use a plug over seeder.and visually check dept and seed flow.
@@robertswift6101 I wouldn't say a nightmare. We have a TA-25 split drive and recently bought a Ca-18. The CA-18 has one speed which is basically turbo mode. There is no throttle hand control like the Ta-25 where you can slow down around fences, poles etc. The Ca-18 full speed baby lol. There is no slowing down. The machine is light even with weights. Dry soil, hang it up. It is however great on straight ways and soft soil. Any type of hillsides even small ones you can't keep it straight, the tiny front wheel makes sure of that haha
Omg! I just rented one and it’s a nightmare! It is so fast…I felt like I looked like a cartoon character chasing it around the yard. Very hard to control!
@@robertswift6101 3 wheel Always tipping to on side or other Feels like your fighting it I bought a camon 4 wheel Excellent machine Use it 2-3 times a year Half acre of lawn to go over
It is! The bags make look a little different year over year, but the 4-step programs we sell in the spring are still the best way to treat your lawn year-long.
What kind of insects? Jonathan Green Summer Survival has insect control with Fertilizer. Apply as the 3rd step in late June early July. Lots of other options to kill insects without fertilizer though. In a drought year, grass goes into summer dormancy which means it doesn’t need fertilizer, but you can still target insects with a bunch of different products.
You should not put solution in any carpet extractor. Instead spray the chemical on to the carpet and agitate with a carpet brush or scrubber like an Oreck orbiter. Last extract with the machine.
The clips on the air connections almost as important if not more important for safety than the ear plugs or safety glasses. Alot of pressure and the hose coming loose at the business end ....you will eat food through a straw for a while until you heal up from getting the crap beat out of you lol
God dam this is the best comment made 👏. Any one that may be planning on using a jackhammer always attached the safe clip/pin connecting the hose to the jack hammer. Save you alot of pain lol
