Last year, she was clearly having a manic episode due to Bipolar Type 1. She displayed all the signs of full blown mania…the erratic behavior, the lack of sleep, grandiose thinking, God like mentality, fast way of speaking & not making a lot of sense, etc.

I am an illustrator. I definitely do take criticism from people who cannot draw, because everybody knows, how a human looks like. I will not tell my client that they have no idea, what they're talking about... I'd be out of a job right away : D (yes, there is a difference between doing art and offering a service like illustration, so I see that people might disagree here). Most people are exposed to so many visual styles, that they often can tell, what belongs to a style and what doesn't. I also can tell if a critiques is based solely on taste or the viewer comes from a completely different angle I haven't considered. My work is meant to be enjoyed by sometimes a small audience, sometimes a big audience and I adjust according to that and I listen to opinions according to that.

I’ve never been more envious of a person in my life 😂and of course, one of her little stans was like “she worked hard for that” when I was not even insulting her, I was just stating facts. To be able to take a full year off from work to fully focus on your mental health/overall well being and to be able to financially sustain yourself without any financial worries is a dream most of us will never get to experience. You’d have to have a high income and aggressively save on top of it in order to do that
You hit this on the money. The storyline was not given time to simmer and take us in. There was no chemistry at all between Colin and Pen. Fran and John had phenomenal chemistry. I really hope they redeem themselves with Benedict’s story. I loved the book and I would weep if S4 is as scattered as S3.
But "discovering spirituality" is a thing a lot of women do when they're becoming older (typical age bracket is 28-35). Not as hot and young anymore, so needs a less attractive but a more committed man. So instead of just showing off (like she did when she was 16-27) she now demonstrates that she "has grown" ("growth" is the most popular word they use; also "healing") and is ready to settle down for a more stable relationship.
