Hello! Do you know why random needles would be sticking out after a pass even when I'm not using a punchcard? I replaced the spongebar and oiled the machine, but yet I keep getting random needles sticking out after straight passes for a solid knit.

I love how the baby in the picture is holding onto his Mommy's breast ! Sometimes with large breasts the mother needs to shape the breast so the skin is held away from the baby's nose as you say . In a latch on video I saw the mother had large breasts , but they werent that rounded and came nicely to more of a point at the end which helped with latch on .

What great advice and you explained it really well . There is a video where it shows the mother with big breasts and she uses the football or underarm hold , the baby is resting on a pillow and her right breast is sort of resting along her baby boy's body and the nipple is directed straight at his mouth without the Mother bending forward or the breast hanging down .
