Interesting. How durable are they in comparison? Any added strain on the motors? Are they seamless fit to install? Have you had any break, come off, or cause a failed flight or crash? I read on their site where it says the Super Stealth are not as high in “Improved Handling” as the standard Stealth version. Any thoughts!?! Thank you in advance for your time and reply. 😎👍🏼
Hi, i had a problem w my planner ( same one) and what i did to help it feed was to add shim washers under the mounting caps that hold the rollers in & it is like new - The washers are .030 thick-& i ground an flat on one side to fit against the roller mounting block- works great- put a straight edge across the rollers and see how close the blade is - mine was teatering on the blade until i added the shims - now there’s about .040 gap between the straight edge and blade - I will make a video of what i did
Please see the post here: www.mytractorforum.com/posts/12853625/ In short, Harvest King Premium Trans-Hydraulic oil for CASE / IH. You are looking for something that says "Permatran 821XL"
Great video. What i found easiest to do is take metal cap off and gently push through the housing and it will slide right in. I used little amount of wd40 and then cleaned up after getting through
Ya. My first design was like that. But inside the actuator is a threaded nylon plastic fitting that pulled apart. The Push and pull specs are the same for the actuator, but in my (one time) experience, using it in pull mode made the actuator come apart. Push mode seems reliable over many uses.
I have spliced many wires over the years. The HID output is a high voltage (maybe 80v? maybe higher like 25,000v to start certainly beyond the rating of simple heat shrink), plus Toyota went to a lot of effort to shield the wire with an external metal braid. For these reasons, I chose not to cut and splice the wire. That I why I made the video. Peace.
And those flat red plates are extension plates for flat fenders that go and connect to the footrest. They have no concern with ROPS. The other flat black bracket plate is for mounting tool box on ROPS.
@@Baxsie yes. Bcoz of the ROPS base plate, the flat fenders height is raised, so to compensate that, the extension plate is needed to fill that gap between fenders and footrest.
I managed to do it without splicing by disassembling the plug that the bulb connects to. No soldering involved either. You just have to be very careful not to damage the tabs. I practiced on the old plug first.
I am experiencing the same thing with my 2023 Wind today. And I noticed my cruise control is dodging cars on the right lane, not the front. Weird stuff happening
I've watched several vids on these drills and it seems like no-one knows how to drill a hole properly! I was taught to pump the drill in order to break and clear the chips. This also helps keep the drill and workpiece cool plus allows coolant to flow into the hole. Your drills will go much farther between sharpenings as well. I can still hear my mentors shouting at me across the shop "PUMP THE DRILL!"
thanks for this, inspired me. We have tiny second gen civics that have no cup holders, anywhere. I am hoping to adapt this idea to our cars, fee up the manual brake handle and add cup holders.
Hi Baxsie, I’m glad I found your videos, I’m in the same boat as you were once, or van for that matter, lol. got a suspension seat in the van and definitely not getting rid of it, I even want to add a second, anyways, I already downloaded your files of the swivel seat, massive thanks, you probably understand how trivial this design is for some people. I plan on make 2, 1 for each side and I will modify the design for the passenger seat a bit more to the middle. I can also fabricate the parking brake myself if had some better images of how it looks from some different angles. And how it’s wired and hooked up, Do you have some more pictures of this? Greetings from the Netherlands, Thomas

i did somedigging yesterday with mi mini china excavator 1 ton, in some wet, sticky clay ... in sumer i tried in the same place but it was bone dry, ... can't decide which was worse.
Clay is not my favorite soil type. Right now, that area is so soggy I can't even walk through it without sinking into the mud. This summer, it will be hard as rock.
Translate: "Hello . Did you put the price of this at $210? it's true ? I am from Iran, the price here is double" Welcome. friend. I purchased it from scAmazon: * Vevor Mag Drill, 2" clearance, no bits : - tinyurl.com/3zh9rsn2 Looks like the current price is $213 now for here in the US.
The symptom of my bad ballast was the the headlight would go off but come back on if I turned the lights off and on. Finally went out completely. I think it's really helpful to remove the metal cover at the high voltage connector and then put it back on when you're finished threading it through. It holds the shielding to the plug but can easily be removed and put back if you're careful.
I think I also had that symptom with bulbs getting old. A lot easier & cheaper to replace the bulbs -- if the problem goes away then the ballast was good. If you end up having to replace the ballast, then you also have new bulbs :-) In this 2005 Prius, I wanted to replace the headlights (horribly foggy) but the 18-year-old 2005 ballast is still going strong, so I moved the old ballast into the new headlight.
@Baxsie you're a lifesaver. Well, a time saver. I am having same issue and wasn't sure if a dying bulb would cause this. It seemed to me like it would but have had people telling me it was in my switch or something because bulbs just die or flicker on and off. I was more for the having to turn it off to "reset" it theory myself though. So, thanks 😊
@@Baxsietip for foggy headlight assemblies - put some insect repellant spray on it. Then use a rag to polish it rubbing it off until it's clear. I was shocked when someone showed me that
Thanks for the information. I just recently also picked up a Vevor annular cutter/drill. On the first day I drilled 64 5/8” holes. It took less than 1/3 of the time as using a drill press and standard drills. I’m definitely happy with mine so far.
You are welcome. It is an awesome tool for the price. Not sure how long it will last if you are pushing it that hard. Let us know if you have any trouble with it wearing out.
Chevrolet and GMC trucks are quite different from each other. The bodies may be similar but the drivetrains are totally different, especially the engines.GMC made a much more heavier duty truck back then, all the way up into the 70's I believe. The later trucks I think were much more alike. What a great find and a great video!!!!I would love to see them all restored back to stock condition.
The ballast is essentially a high voltage power supply that boosts up the 12 volts from the car to some very high voltage that will arc inside the HID light bulb. I'm sure there are a lot more details than that. Maybe google HID lighting system.
No chance you know anything about the model, manufacturer? I’m trying to repair mine & trying to see if I can find spare parts online, though no idea the brand
Sorry. No idea. I took one apart when I was a kid. Most parts are cast, so you can fix most of it by brazing an filing. Other option would be to find a replacement at an antique store.
With practice you will feel the right pressure when the teeth are cutting right. The more coolant-lube the better and go slow n steady. It bound up from the bit expanding when it gets hot.
Just by eyeball, I can see a horrifying amount of runout on that first bit in the three jaw chuck. Next time apply less pressure, use a constant stream of coolant or lubricant (I prefer a constant stream of a light cutting oil) and turn down the speed all the way for such relatively large diameter bits. The combination of excess pressure, excess speed, and insufficient coolant will burn your bits out within a dozen holes.
Thanks for the tips! I'm glad i have the "real" bit for precise holes. I'll have to invest in some cutting + cooling fluid. The main job I bought it for is cutting worn out welded bushings in a loader. I did some with a hand drill. It was brutal. Peace.
Great skiing, very bad camera work. You don't swing left and right with the skier to the extent that you did, stay a bit farther back and shoot in a straight line or with less back and forth. You got me dizzy, I cut it before reaching halfway.
Is it possible to ride one “seated only”? I am trying to heal a patellar tendon tear so I’m not allowed to ski or ride bike park standing. Seated is acceptable to my surgeon and PT. Thanks
Thanks - your part about removing the plastic piece that holds the adjustment screw helped. It was indeed the hardest part of the job... Well... Besides trying to get the protective cap off. I broke a plastic piece off each side trying to remove the dust/moisture cover. That was terrible! Maybe some silicone applied to the gasket will make re-assembly better!
So toyota must expect the entire headlight to be purchased which should include all of the bulbs, etc. My symptoms were flickering and then the main light would just go out. Turning the lights off and back on would restore the light for a period of time. I swapped the HID bulb to the passenger side, but the problem remained on the driver side. I ordered new bulbs and a ballast. I am really hoping this fixes the issue!
😡😡😡😡 the person that designed this headlight assembly and balanced unit, belongs in prison for crimes against humanity 😂😂😂😂 This is one of those jobs you just start with taking sandpaper to all your knuckles
In theory, the ballast would last the lifetime of the car --so I guess they did not think of it being replaceable. But I think 2006 and 2007 had some bad batch of ballasts that died on a regular basis. I think after, that they switched to halogens. My sister-in-law bought like a 2007 and they ended up selling after several headlight failures. I was always ready for my ballast to die in te 2005, but 18 years later I'm moving it to a new headlight instead. I agree with you - this is a knucklebuster.
