I enjoyed this video showing your holiday nail stamping plates. You have a really nice collection and it was great to see each plate while you talked about how you use them. I love watermelon, especially in the summer when it's hot outside and the watermelon is cold and sweet! I remember it used to have a ton of seeds; I only see the seedless ones now; maybe that's why they're not as sweet or maybe they aren't fully ripe yet. Your nails look so pretty and it was fun to watch you create the decals. The word "sweet" looked nice on its own as well as with the green stamped on top. TFS! 🍉

Thank you💓...When I first started nail stamping I did very simple designs, then just started trying to do more, & different things, sometimes it works out ok, & sometimes not, & that's ok! It's a type of painting, so to speak, & even the best painters have things not turn out the way they want sometimes. As long as you enjoy it, & have fun with it is what really matters😊. 😂 IKR. On my playback, I was like OMG, just stamp it🤦♀️😅. In the moment it didn't feel quite as long. It's hard for me to line stuff up, even with my magnifying glasses on🫠🤷♀️, but I want it to be just right lol. Thank you so much for watching!! 💞
I have a couple tips for you… you’re using to much polish all you need to do hon is put polish on about half the stamp… when you scrape off always scrape towards the closest edge. Also, hold your scraper straight up not flat, I think you’ll find those are very helpful tidbits to make it easier for you. Thanks for the video I’ll be watching more. When you scrape that way it should only cover the area of the plate you are using. Makes it a lot easier to clean. Thank you for the video I’ll be watching more with you.
@TuckyBlue_1 Hi😊! I understand what you mean, I've seen it done different ways, & sometimes I just go with it in the moment😆. When I'm using regular polish (especially) to stamp, I do tend to cover the image bc I know it's typically not as opaque as stampimg polish, but I do understand what you're saying. @janetg.6295 Hey😁! I'm guessing from my last plate count that I have 50ish now🫣, I'll have to do another count to be sure. I actually have showing my favs (at least) on my list of videos I want to do😉. Thank you for your suggestion, I'll move it up. Sometimes it's hard to decide what plates you really "need", especially with so many to choose from, & new releases regularly, it can definitely add up quick! That's one reason I "try" to make my plate usage count, but I do have some that need more love. I probably should use my stamping polishes on my tips to show them more, but you know that cost would add up real quick to upkeep, so I save those for my real nails, & try to make regular polishes work for the tips. Sometimes it works better than other times, really, stamping polish can be that way too though. Thank you so much for commenting! 💕
@cami-mani You're welcome! 😁 I ordered the plate bc I missed it the first time! I had gotten the pink polish separately, (still need to try it), but they accidentally sent me the green by mistake, so they told me to keep it, & also sent the pink, free of course. They do sell the polishes, & the stamper separately (if it's still in stock, last I looked it was) but if you plan to do those, & the plate it may be more cost effective to do the bundle. Really depends on what you want to get. 🩷

I do love my stamping polishes, but I also know that sometimes we can't always afford all the things, so I decided to put these to the test. I do think that the stamping polishes are more opaque, but if you don't have that option, I think you can make these work, especially on a light base. Thank you for watching, & commenting! 🧡😊
@pipingdesigns1598 Hi😁! Yea, it seems most in the nail community are an ambassador for at least one co. I always wondered myself. With me, I think since I was a regular returning customer, & tried many of thier products (I stuck with them bc they worked for me), I was sent an invite to beome an ambassador. So, you fill out a short application, & they send an email if they accept it, or not. Also, on the bottom of thier website there is a place to click to apply. You don't have to do videos, you can use other social media, some do it all, but this seemed best for me. In a way you put the time, & effort as you would a job, but you only get a very small commission if anyone uses your 10% discount code, so you don't get paid like a regular job. You can also use your own code, & just get back what you saved on what you bought. You also can get tiers (I have a video on a pink tier), if anyone uses your code enough, & they give you a gift if you reach it. So I had 2 ppl use my code (is my understanding) so I got my 1st tier, next is if 5 ppl use it, but it has to be within that mo. Also, I'm pretty certain that using your own code doesn't help with this. I honestly dk how other brands work to become an ambassador, or how some are one for multiple companies, I'm still learning. I'm at a stage in my life where my kids are very young adults, & I needed something for myself that I enjoy, I needed to find myself, bc you know, being a mom it's hard to do for yourself, & our babies are our entire focas, so feeling a little lost at this stage of my life, this gave me my new purpose, that I needed. @robindominy2930 OH wow girl! I'm none of the above, I just enjoy doing my nails, & got into nail stamping which I really enjoy. I would watch alot of videos, & when I became an ambassador recently (by luck, which I typically don't have honestly) I thought that I'd give doing videos a try for myself since nail stamping is the one thing I actually enjoy, & have stuck with. I had no clue what to do other than doing what I love, & what I looked for in videos I watched. I'm not a professional, or anything, just have learned, & am still learning. I enjoy learning about how others care for their natural nails, have watched lots of videos on the topic, and picked up tips along the way. I loved watching Love4Nails channel but she no longer posts videos. You have a nice regimen that you follow an it's interestng to hear why you file your nails in a ound shape. I agree that everyone's nails grow or don't grow as we'd like them to for different reasons. I think climate plays a role for when mines grow: they grow best in the summer and tend to stay shorter and are driest in winter. Before I remove nail polish, I use cutucle oil around the cuticles and under the nails. Then wash my hands, apply lotion, and more cuticle oil. Once the cuticle oil absorbs, I use my strengthener, base coat, polish, and topcoat. I try using cuticle oil several times a day and definitely use hand lotion after I wash my hands each time. I think it helps me take good care of my nails as I love to polish them twice a week. PS - I push my cuticles back with an orangewood stick or cuticle pusher, being very gentle. TFS! 💅
@cami-mani That's interesting, I've never thought about the climate effecting nails🤔😮. Wow, you have a fantastic routine! I can definitely take some notes from you! I am always having to clean, & do dishes, but I do try to use my dish gloves for the most part, but I don't use lotion after my hand washes😬, just bc it's alot. Thank you soo much for sharing!! 💅💞
I love pineapples! Such a cute and fun mani! I want to buy so many of those Color Vibes polishes -- there are so many pretty colors -- but I'm sure I have similar colors in my collection. They're such eye candy and so affordable, lol! It would be fun to see your collection. I like the colors of the pineapples and the base with stamping. You've done such a creative set! I have tried cleaning my plates with alcohol and they are still streaky; I wonder if it's due to the percentage of the alcohol (mine is 50%). I'm going to buy one that is as close to 100% as I can find to see if it works. TFS! ❤🍍❤
@cami-mani I know what you mean, I probably have simular colors myself already too, but I kept telling myself, "it's ok, it's 1.25, just get em"🤣, then I look at how many I already have 😶🤦♀️, but in all fairness they are just a little bit different in tone🫣😂. I have so many regular polishes from over the years, & I'm bad about not getting rid of old ones. Now with stamping, I keep adding to my stamping polishes as well🫠. Aw, thank you! I'm glad you liked these, I just went with it, & did something a little different. I've been using the 90% alcohol, & it's still not working, super weird. I've never had it do this bad, so idk if it's something new I'm using, or what, but it's driving me nuts! 💞
Love those colorful jellyfish and the background you chose! Picked up Pop-arazzi Born a Uncorn after seeing it in one of your previous manis; it's beautiful! I heard MoYou London (MYL) is phasing out their stamping plates; they have a clearance sale goiing on so I bought several that were $2 each. I love their stamping plates and others from Lina, Maniology, UberChic, What's Up Nails, Moyra, Ejiubas. Beach/ocean/nautical themes are one of my fave manis for summer. A few favorite plates for summer manis are Lina's Born to Sail 02, MYL Jaws collection, What's Up Nails A019 Beach Mode, and Maniology MXM 057/058. TFS! ❤🪼❤️
@cami-mani Heyyy😊! I'm glad you got the Born a Unicorn color, sometimes they change them out, & they've had it awhile. I've heard alot of nail stampers are very disappointed about MYL not doing plates anymore, I wonder why, I figured they sold pretty well. Could you imagine if stamping takes a hit🫨, that would change alot for companies, stampers, YT, etc, hopefully it's just a random thing. Thank you for all the great recommendations, I'll be looking!
