This isn't very "musical", but that's not the point here. This is from a DVD that aims to teach technique, so Vinnie is deliberately pushing his skills to the limit. He was very capable of playing very good solos. In my opinion, his rendition of the Love Gun solo is the best by any of Kiss' guitar players.

@@tonebrennan8475 Oh yes, now I understand. I know this guy really well, and yes, he is really the greatest alternate picker ever seen. I like his videos with bach pieces and also his cover of Gilbert's "Get Out of My Yard". I'm so glad that you write this pretty comment and remembered such a great guy, that was a big inspiration to me back in the days. But, sadly, I don't know how to collaborate with him because he is very famous and in all social websites he closed the messages. But as a wish this is really great!
It's like a total housecleaning in 5 minutes, I dig dig it because it's so crazy, I have room for it in my life, I can always listen to Joe Pass if I need That. There is still structure and clear ideas in this solo, It's just the massive nature of it that is kind of crazy. FWIW

Vinnie Vincent is a great and dynamic guitar player. A fine fellow gave me a tape of the first Vinnie Vincent Invasion album in the 1980s, and I thought it was a metal marvel, and I still do. The sheer majesty of a Vinnie shred is a thing of wonder.
There are naysayers to the guitar talent of Vinnie Vincent, but I say nay to these naysayers. Vinnie Vincent is a superb shredding machine, and I have put forth a petition to all of the political leaders of the world to have this both globally recognized and formally ratified.

its just noodling sh!t...even a lot of eddie van halen stuff was mindless race track noodling...randy was better than eddie because there was more depth and soul and variation in his playing...randy had IT just like jimi had IT
