Lake McQueeney was drained to reconstruct the dam & spill gates to prevent a potential collapse. It’s expected to make a comeback mid-late part of 2025
There is a $30 fee to use Boat Ramp 19, which is only open from 9am - 5pm on the weekends. It is currently closed on the weekdays due to construction and marina re-location.
the Guadalupe River Authority will continue drainage of the Canyon Lake Reservoir! As numerous other reservoirs throughout the country are also being drained in the attempt by the globalist to exacerbate the climate hoax agenda.. .
Unfortunately there are no free launches open at the moment. However as we stated in the video, with the extension of 3 of the ramps, more public boat launches will be open longer in future drought situations.
Katy, here is a link however if you want more info (Survey, disclosures, etc.) or if you would like to schedule a showing call or text Billy at 830-660-8944. www.lakehouses4sale.net/listing-hlmlsabor/5352068-400-county-road-131-marble-falls-tx-78654/
Development and surrounding communities are using water faster than what is being replenished over the past 6 years. 2021 was the only year the lake went up due to weather system. Unless demand decreases, it will continue to drop. It is now at a record low.
Nat, not much water is sold out of Canyon Lake currently. As you can see, the flow rate is around the 50-70 CFS which is much less than others which is why Canyon Lake is the most constant of the non-constant level lakes. As of 5/8/24: Canyon Lake: 58% full Lake Travis: 38.7% full Lake Buchanan: 60.7% thanks to recent rains however was at 46.4% a month ago. Medina Lake: 2.7% full. Link to flow out of Canyon Lake: waterdata.usgs.gov/monitoring-location/08167800/#parameterCode=00060&period=P7D&showMedian=false
@@TheLakefrontGroup I live in Arkansas and the tailwater outflow of Gillham lake seldom falls below 430 CFS. I have seen it at over 2000 CFS. Can't own lakefront property on this lake. The lake is for everyone's use.
As long as the Guadalupe River Authority continues draining Canyon Lake at a rate greater than the inflow the water levels will continue dropping to a non-recoverable condition.. this is being done in order to promote the Global warming hoax propaganda, this is not only being done at Canyon Lake but hundreds of other Lakes throughout the United States.. .
The game warden gestapo constantly harass me...been cited 11 times on the water in the last 3 years for "50 foot from the shore past idle"....fuckers have a hard on for me.....even worse the scumbag local pd....26 years of bullshit
When you loaded you boat back up after being in canyon lake was there a lot of black film on your boat?? I was out there about a month of there and bottom of my boat was covered in black stuff
I would recommend Comal Park. The boat ramps are closed there however it is accessible for launching kayaks (at least the website says so): wordcc.com/comal-park/
Great question! A group of waterfront homeowners actually sued GBRA trying to force them to pay for the dams. Unfortunately they lost that lawsuit. However GBRA (a quasi government entity) is contributing 100% of the gross profits from the hydroelectric dams towards the debt service for each dam.
There is a public/free ramp under IH 35 in New Braunfels however there is typically a flow and no guest docks. I recommend the pay ramp at the end of Schumanns Beach Rd. NOTE: I they are currently set up for $10 / launch however I hear that they will soon be switching to annual memberships only.
I launched from my house (I live on the lake). You can now launch under IH 35 again however there is a flow and no guest dock. I prefer the $10 pay ramp at the end of Schumanns Beach Rd (off FM 725). There is never a flow and there is a guest dock. NOTE: cash only and no change. If you are ever interested in purchasing a place on the lake, I highly recommend signing up for Lake House Alerts. We just send listing, no junk mail: www.lakehouses4sale.net/home-finder.php
@@TheLakefrontGroup I came to ask this same question. Great explanation thank you! I am heading up there tomorrow to scout out where I can drop in my 23LSV!
Thank you for your interest in our listing @mosalinas7976. This is in TEXAS. Address is 101 Bluebird Circle for $487,000. Would you like to see this home in person?
Im In Florida and not familiar with US geography, I had to look up where the Guadalupe River was! It’s in Texas for others like me who may not have been born here. You have a lovely property there but I missed how much you’re asking, if you mentioned it at all. How far is the nearest town for supplies? Good luck in your endeavor to sell the property.
