You can always put it on and take it to a shop and have them tune it. I think I paid only $299 for my tuner when I bought it. However, that was 6 years ago.
Excellent video my good sir, was debating on whether to get this but wasnt sure if it was gonna clear the skid plate. Definitely seems like it works well.
hi, what tire reference can we install on the triglide. in France it is difficult to find the reference P205 65/R15 92T. I'm looking for an equivalence. Thank you for helping me. Best regards Patrick
I put some custom Dynamics pro beams on my 14 street glide special and they hyperflashed for a short time and then they stopped and worked normal. Yeah go figure. Anyhow fast forward to my 2019 Street glide special and i used the same lights from my 14 and they are hyper flashing. I figured there was a fix bc i know they are compatible with all the newer bikes.
The app has an option under cleaning preference that you can toggle on to get him to finish cleaning if he has to recharge before finishing. If you toggle on "auto resume" he should go back out and finish the job. Mine does anyway. If your app doesn't have that option, it may need to be updated again.
Thanks, they added that feature in an update. It wasn't there when I did the video. I was one of the early adopters. I have that set now. Thank you for the comment.
another great video and will be doing this before next road trip last yr road from florida to west virginia to kentucky to nc then back to florida 500 miles a day roughly and between the heat of the engine plus the wind coming up this might be a good fix for me.
I know this video is a few years old, but what are your final thoughts on the wind deflector wings, do they work as advertised or is it just another snake oil product?
Good question, and as I think about it I'm not sure. I know it didn't help wind buffeting. Since the Trike has the wet heads I don't know if it helps cool the engine that much. Maybe an engine without the wet heads it might help more. I do know that my cylinders run 230 and up and my oil has been up to 260 in the Arizona heat. However I have no data before the installation. I don't think I would purchase again.
@@Batman825 Thank you for replying and your input. If I were to purchase them it would be for the engine cooling aspect, I also live in a hot climate (Florida). I already solved my wind buffeting issue with fork mounted wind deflectors on my Road King. I'm not sure if my ecu does data logging or not (Thundermax) to see if there would be a cooling benefit or not. Thanks again.
your video popped up probably because looking at dk customs stuff, and since it's been some time ya installed it, how is it working out far as buffering, extra cooling on the motor??
Because of other things I did to cool down it's hard to tell how well it's working. My cylinder heads run about 230 when it's hot here in Phoenix. As for buffering, I don't think the cool wings help that much. The Road Glide design does a lot better for buffering.
@@Batman825 nice, i'm in the las vegas area so have similar heat conditions. i have put on the love jugs on 2 of my bikes and helped a lot mainly slow to stopped waiting at intersections.
I haven't noticed any effect on the fuel gage. The system seems to work fine. The Harley engine is a hot one and removing the cat really helps also with the right side of the bike.
thanks for the video! i watched it so i could learn how to get the body off so i could change out the slip ons. i got the TAB 4 1/2 zombie baffles. why does Harley make everything such a pain in the ass to work on? lol
Isn't the screw you're talking about in 11:08 the infamous "no touch screw"? I'm trying to set idle for my 95' Miata after cleaning the throttle body (before it was 800RPM, now 1000-1500), but I can't find the definitive answer which screw should and shouldn't be touched.
I believe it is the no touch screw but you have to adjust it for idle speed. This was told to me by my Miata mechanic and he's been fixing Miata's for years. Also I believe the manuals will tell you that only the dealer should touch the screw that's how it got the name of the no touch screw. There are other videos on RU-vid that address setting the idle on the Miata. My problem was finding what was causing my Miata to act the way it did and I found adjusting the idle fixed the problem.
I've had 3 robot vacs so far. After using it for 9 months, it does have some quarks. It get's lost occasionally and just roams around. The fix it to make one of the saved maps active. I recommend having 3 maps to fall back on. That is one of the best features. I would not use it for mopping floors and it does work well on wooden and carpeted floors. I like the dust bin emptying feature as the vac I use on my first floor I have to remember to empty the dust bin. So would I recommend it? Yes, but just know that it's not perfect and it does have flaws. But it does do a good job cleaning.
Thank you for this I could not for the life of me figure out how to take off the cover, lol. the crazy thing is I have the exact same bike and paint job lol.
Just got one ordered from Sam's Club, on a promotion for *$219 until June 2, 2024*.. I thought that was a heck of a deal being $380 off their list price.
I am looking at wi fi security cameras and doorbell. I am new to this, but I am overall quite disappointed in the video quality and the need to subscribe to a service to use them. I use the Apple iPhone/iPad and am trying to use my existing home capabilities. My existing LED driveway lantard sconces have just failed at 5 years old and am looking to replace them with smart lights to tie into my home WiFi so I can monitor my cameras from my devices including my TV’s.
Thank you for this video. My 03 had a code for IAC and this helped with replacing it. Working on cars is intimidating for me and this helped a lot. Thank you
Thanks. I don't think there were other wires attached. I did find that I accidently tore the security antennae (Delphi p/n 28054517) from the harness. I'm thinking this is likely the problem. Thoughts?
Not sure what to tell you. I'm not familiar with the wiring of a 2012 but I would think that you should have removed 2 screws, the positive and negative terminal, on the battery and just replaced it and put the 2 screws back in. Were there other wires attached to the terminals? Maybe you missed putting them back on?
Ha-ha, you're right I didn't show it because I didn't realize I had to remove it. That's why I put it in the description. It's a PIA because the tank is on it. I had to lift the tank to get an allen wrench (I think that's what it was) on it. I should have filmed it.
Hey man....would you know why my brake fuse keeps blowing after I went to led brake lights on a 2013 ultra classic triglide ...also the led spot lights aren't working...thx in advance
Taking a guess, you must have a short somewhere and when you apply the brakes it blows. Go back over what you did and make sure you're not pinching a wire. It should be a simple job to replace the lights so I suspect something with the socket and assembly. On the spot lights, try turning your high beam on or off. I know when you turn on the High beam those lights may go out. Hope this helps.
regarding the removal of the trunk is this the same procedure for a 2021 tri-glide. i don't want an electrical problems thank you for the videos. trikes are very popular now. can you make a video of changing the rear hydraulic brakes or just bleeding them?
I don't think Harley had made any changes to the way the body comes off so it should be the same for the 2021. As far as bleeding the brakes, I did do a video on that.
Not sure I understand your question? If the windows won't go down it might be your motor or switch. You have to take it apart to determine that. If it is the regulator you will know when you take it apart.
My window (2001) malfunctioned today. I brought it up a little bit and I heard this weird crackling sound. At the next light, I played with it, finding that I could raise the window but not lower it. Being in California and not worried about rain I figured it was going to be fine until the weekend when I had time to tear the door apart. Do you think I'd even have to look at the motor since it seemed to function for the raising part? (I'm about halfway through this video so maybe I need to watch more and I might get my own question answered)
@@HorizonMelt I would say your motor is fine. I would bet the cable broke or the plastic pieces that the cable runs on. The plastic wears out with time and both of mine were that.
Hey Bob! Thanks so much for posting. My 96 m edition has the same weird bucking bronco affect. My wife and I have troubleshooted everything you said in the video-except the idle speed adjustment. We will try that next! Also, is little red still running good now?
This thing would probably have to run over the same area multiple times to get it clean, and even then it can't properly clean the pad... so you have to replace or wash it constantly ..
Thanks for this detailed review. I'm thinking of putting this upstairs so the stair error is definitely a concern. The no-sweep zone is the last resort I guess.
Excellent video and you saved me hours of headaches. I just returned an Irobot Roomba I3+ because the vacuum emptying sensor problem had a problem. I have one of these on order. Thank you.
