Looks great! How are the poly pipes looking now, 2 years later? I’m thinking of doing something similar but at a smaller scale. However, we’re not sure how long the poly pipes will survive.
Great finished product. I would suggest two changes: 1. Make the door wider to allow a wheel barrow through easily. 2. Have two roof supports instead of one so the posts can be moved out of the pathway.
Nice! I have most of the materials needed to make something similar. Are the corrugated panels needed to keep out pests? In winter down here in Vic the sun is quite low so they may shade the beds too much but I’m not sure.
I want to build one of these for my chickens and another for my vegies. I want to conect the two with a shute/double doored chook house so I can alternate my chickens from one hoop house to the other after each growing season.
I think it is a great idea, not only for keeping the critters out, but also to keep i. e chickens in for preparing the beds by eating weed seeds and insects that might harm the veggies. And free manure on the spot.
I'm sorry, I hate to tell you, but it's a little too expensive for the results. I'm sure the video was done with the best intentions but it doesn't work for us who don't have the money. Also I don't think people need to see you or your big property. Just saying.
To ya Modelo What an obnoxious and passively aggressive post that's added nothing except the opportunity for you to see your noxious opinions defiling someone's personal space. You know what, I can afford to build a structure like this (it's good value in fact) and am definitely interested in how to build things well. I'm also pleased to see and be able to identify the people who go to a lot of trouble to try and share and pass on knowledge. So how about you get back in your dank miserable hole and stop seeding your sour attitude and personality into the RU-vid community. Thank you to the family that built this structure and shared the time, effort and experiences with us. Keep it up!
wow, you dont take feedback well... you post things, you get feedback. i am glad you enjoy building and you can afford it. with practice i am sure you will get better at it. try and keep away the property tours they have nothing to do with the project.
Hmm. This just gets worse. Just to help you out, I am not the poster of the video, just a browser absolutely irritated by an obnoxiously rude post posing as 'feedback' as you call it. What gives you the right to tell the poster what they should or should not put in their video? Clearly the property does have to do with the project - that's where the project is. It's called context. You didn't like it? Well give it a thumbs down and move on. Who cares about your jealousy that this originator has more money or property than you? So here's some feedback for you - fix the things that are wrong in your life and stop projecting your misery on to others.
sounds like someone got their feelings hurt... taking it too personal with too much input for just a "reader". listen to yourself and take your own advice.
