VERY smart! Absolute total waste of money! I'd be shocked if someone at Mechanic Superstore hasn't seen this video yet. They really need to rethink their strategy!
Just ordered "Spring Things" for my 2019 Sierra with 16k miles on it. Dealer just said it would be $1,500 to replace leaf springs to quiet it down. I'll see if the "Spring Things" at $45 do the trick. (It has been commented on by many GM pickup owners BTW.)
I have a 2015 tahoe with this exact problem!! Was this ever figured out?...just read comments and figured out you fixed ecu...your welcome future viewers...
I live in Florida i have a 2015 silverado ltz and Sometimes when i go to start the truck warm or cold it clicks and wont turn over but i don’t get the christmas tree dash, everything is normal other than it just clicking and wont turn over. I learned that you just have to switch the key back and fourth to the off and keep Trying to turn it over it works eventually😊
You're complaining about wasting time....by WASTING TIME TO BOTHER TO COMMENT?! This video was for the dealer. They asked me to upload it. Maybe take a second and read the comments. I mention what the issue and fix was.
I have a tip. On Chevy Silverados after you have been driving on snow covered roads on your way to work during the winter. After you get off work the starter won't crank. What happens is the drain hole in the starter housing gets snow and water packed up there into the starter gears. It then freezes and won't let the starter turn over. You need to go under the pickup with a little benzomatic propane torch and warm up the starter to melt the ice. After that I put a dab of door and window caulking over that hole and have had no issues with my pickup starting for the last 4 years now.
I absolutely love the staff at Little Bennett. They are super friendly and they care about their guests. I have to say that I've RARELY even needed to do any leveling at all there and I've camped there about 10 times. I have a short camper though, but side to side, I never even need to do any leveling. They take excellent care of the full hookup sites that I've stayed in.
Should heat the inside with a steamer before putting on headrest, this is kind of accurate to how we professionally installed the headrest, there's a machine just for the headrest.
bro your truck is not even in any sort of gear to be labled as P. my truck is having the same problem but i can get lucky to have the indicator be highlighted which allows me to crank and start my truck
You see my comments? Resolution is there. Don't worry though, I didn't post this video for you! The dealer asked me to put it up somewhere when they were helping me troubleshoot. Thanks for watching!
I have the same problem.. my 16 silverado did not start at all.. I change for new battery, and works but only for a few months, and the problem came back.. I checked for the negative cable, tie the screw cause was a kind of loss.. and the problem seem to be gone.. Hope that's the solution... looks that the terminal cables have to be real tie..
Well that was a wash, I don't know what to say, all these new cars, and trucks are nothing but junk, ALL OF THEM FORD, CHYRSLER, GM, ECT, THE STUPIDITY THAT THESE (ENGINEERS) IDIOTS AT AUTO MANUFACTURING COMPANY'S WANT NOTHIN BUT YOUR MONEY TO FIXEM I'VE NEVER HAD THESE TYPE OF ISSUES, PROBLEMS WITH MY OLDER CARS, JUS BASIC REGULAR MAINTAINACE, AND REGULAR TUNEUPS, they've been DOING GOOD SO FAR. Computers are STUPID, IT CANT EVEN HELP YOU, DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR GET RID OF YOUR NEW VEHICLE AND GET YOUR AN OLDER ONE, IT'LL GET YOU WHERE AND WHEN YOU NEED TO GO.
You mentioned you just put a new battery and now you got a christmas tree. Well, seems you messed up all settings in your truck by not using a memory saver. Truck acts weird when you dont use saver as idle, ABS, aur bag, EPD, Stability, etc they all go crazy as a result. Other possibility when you installed new battery you accidentally touch ground and shorted out some circuit or burned and fried ECU.
Wrong. This started BEFORE the battery replacement. The ECU was bad. Failed. Burned up before battery swap. I couldn't even connect to it with HPTuners. Doesn't matter anyway, I replaced the ECU and don't even have the truck anymore. On to a Duramax.
