Thanks, Com Steve, reminds me of our cruise on Britannia in Sep ‘21. I like your Pink and Lily (sailor?) bears. I bought Capt Pete and Bree-Tanya (in red) bears onboard. They had their anniversary on Arcadia in Nov ‘22 where Bree gave birth to KD and I’ll take them on a family cruise on Ventura in 2 months’ time where she’s expecting Venty. A sailing family will complete. June
So what are the features and benefits of this cabin? Why should I pick this cabin over an outside cabin? How does this cabin compare with other cabins on this deck? Is this a good deck to be on? You've not really told me ANYTHING!?!?!?!?
An inside cabin is the cheapest type of cabin to choose on anyship.... If you are not concerned about not having a view this is the cheapest way to cruise... The size and facilities will be basically the same as an outside cabin (ie one with a window). I always recommend choosing a cabin as near to mid ships as possible and one with cabins either side and above and below to avoid the potential of noise from entertainment and public areas… On Arvia and Iona avoid deck 8 as people walk right past your balcony…. Mr Dunn, I’m sure your Lily enjoyed dining as well as the spa onboard. I took my Lucy Chow (pictured on my profile) to Bolette’s maiden voyage and brought Freddy Bear (in blue) home. The 3 of us will embark on Borealis next week and I’ll buy Freddy a mate called Freda (in red) to marry them with Lucy their bridesmaid. June of London
Just finished a 18 nights cruise with this ship a few days ago. General conclusion is service is average not in par with the premium class of cruise ship it supposed to be. Food on board is average, theatre show is average. The only plus thing is the afternoon tea with a nice ambient to enjoy.
Hi... I was onboard invited by Nicko Cruises as their guest to get the full experience of the ship. One of our party was only on for half the trip, when he left I was moved to the vacant higher grade cabin.... :)

HAL isn't a line we are too familiar with, and so to get a look around this ship was interesting and appealing. Definitely our cup of tea.....and afternoon tea 🍵🍰
I am leaving a comment for several reasons: Your voice does not come through loudly enough; your content appears more to be for just family to view; but the most offensive part (to me, personally) is that you call yourself ‘Commodore’. I have an actual Commodore (Royal Australian Navy) in my family and my cousin worked VERY hard for several years to attain this rank / moniker, to which I feel you have not pursued to do… ..On the plus side, I do feel the pace at which you have made in this video is good. Apart from the Commodore part, the rest is meant to be received as constructive.

I will take on board the constructive comment regarding the sound quality and I will look into the use of a dedicated microphone for future videos..... With regard to calling myself a "Commodore" , this is not meant to be Offensive to you and I am sorry you feel this way. For your information, I have been awarded the "Commodore" status by Cunard Cruise Line.... I also hold a similar official status with P&O Cruises. The status of "Commodore" is awarded by cruise lines to professionals in the cruise industry for attaining and completing the highest level of training and satisfying certain levels of expertise in the sale of their products..... I am also a member of "CLIA" Cruise Lines International Association which is the recognised Official Global Cruise Industry Trade Organisation. I hope this goes some way towards explaining my use of the title "commodore". I would be happy to share my certification with you should you wish to see it. Thank you again for your other comments. Hi.. Thanks for your question.... I love it when I get a reply or comment to my videos.... It makes it so worth while..... Now on Holland America the dress code is not so formal as the likes of Cunard...... So I would generally say say Smart casual...... No different to how you would dress if visiting a lovely restaurant at home ... However, their will probably be two formal nights on a 7 day cruise , and longer cruises will have additional formal nights. Shipboard dress is casual during the day. Shorts and tasteful T-shirts are acceptable even in the dining rooms. At dinner, dress codes will vary daily, among the following: Smart Casual: Skirts/dresses, slacks/trousers and blouses for ladies; Slacks/trousers and collared shirts for men. Formal: Evening gowns and cocktail dresses for women; tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits with a tie for men.
Hi, I was on this cruise, transatlantic to FLL october 2023. Port Weymouth. 1: there is NO adult pool on the ship 2: you can eat in all the dining venues, some with an upcharge. Have it all: gives you free diningexperience in Pinnacle and Tamarind depends how many days on board.
Thank you for your comments. I am particularly interested to hear that the pool at the rear of the ship was not adults only on your cruise. The crew member showing us around during my visit made a particular point of telling us this was an adults only pool. I will have to raise this with them the next time I take a booking for the Rotterdam.
