What if you do raptors while ghouls are clearing baron giving you 4 more ghouls which should work time-wise because baron takes 16s. After raptors, you E the enemy champion with 16 ghouls.
To fix the Maiden problem you can E enemy champion and then Q a baby raptor to recall Maiden. Or otherwise make sure Maiden dies within 16 seconds so that Maiden is unable to de-spawn 16 ghouls. Or let Maiden push top lane (de-attach Maiden)
5:10 Not only do you have 10+ ghouls, you also have Nash and Maiden is still following you. Get your team to push mid with the ghouls and Nash and push out bot (:
8:10 Yorick doesn't have the craziest chase, but the w for chasing a target with no dashes and limited ms (so they can't dodge) is heavier cc than malzahar ult
Just like how you don’t always want to have supers up, is there a scenario where it would be better not to take Baron? Or say, if you do it early, is there a scenario where it’s wasted?
I fear more yorick nerfs are coming. ヾ(•ω•`)o. I was reading this clickbait title thinking this 12 ghoul thing must be super situational. But WHAAAAT????!!!! its even more consistent and reliable than the earlier 8 ghoul tech. Pulled it off in first try. Enemy was flabbergasted. Edit: Couldnt figure it out how to do it with All-Seeing baron. There is no wall that would block maiden. So he aggros onto it and the ghouls dispawn

Do you mean 3 items at level 13? Yes its definitely possible, i actually tested it again tonight - it's 2 bruiser items + dirk is all you need. You do NOT need to complete your item lol.
@NinetalesOCE hmm wonder if other builds can do it if the bruiser one is so effective, esp from jg since u get items quite fast. Also wondering how good toplane yorick can do it esp since u dont always have access to both krugs and red. If its decently easy to replicate ill def plot something with some friends to terrorize flex haha
Finally! Krugs are ACTUALLY useful for something! I’m surprised as you are that Liandry’s doesn’t do any significant baron damage. I will DEFINITELY be trying to drop 9 ghouls top. I want to farm those question mark pings.

Took me half way thru to realize that this enemy team is just "ignore walls" The only one that can't on a basic ability is Top, but she can ult over walls.
TL:DR Yorick loses agency and WR when he has a laner than can and will match him because it shuts down his best win condition. The win rate vs game length could be caused by different factors. Look at it this way 1: yorick is relatively one dimensional. His one win con is split push. If yorick is forced to try and win via a different method he won’t do as well. 2 if the enemy doesn’t have someone who is willing and able to rotate and stop his split yorick will end games really fast. 3 if there is a laner strong enough who does match yorick and we don’t int the game will go on. 4 in games where there is a laner who can and will match him the games will naturally go longer because yoricks main win condition has been shut down.
I would love to see a rework shifting him to a more drain bruiser style. Maybe remove heal from Q and make ghouls heal yorick, adjust his passive and change the ult to be a more 1v1 combat style like fiora, riven, irelia, trundle. I fell his ghouls should continue to be his biggest strengh and weakness.
