I have honey bee converter when i use super metroid on converter in my pal snes it sayd this game pak not designed for your super nes or super famicom why. And u it works perfectly fine
This happened to me with Breath of Fire II at first too. It would give that text and play only the intro section of the game and loop back to beginning. Then I shuffled few PAL cartridges and finally found one that would give the full game. With that PAL cartridge it remembered the old save file too which wouldn't show with the different cart when the "game pak is not designed..."-text popped up. So, in my experience, trying different PAL cartridges tends to fix problems but I do not know why.
This game was a huge part of my childhood. I didn't care about the points, (just enough to unlock new areas/outfits) I always played to play and loved every second.
A Cyclone Monster is very useful to have and you sold it? Its trait is very helpful in fusion with many monster like Barong and such. Hazak Seed just like Shomuro Seed should only give to monster never to Player.
You knew how to destroy Traps, so why didnt you do so when using Trap Glasses? Destroying them give EXP and if you destroy all on the Floor and then using the Trap Scrolls to make them invisible (try to remember to where they are) again, then you can destroy them again for more EXP. I believe you can teach monsters magic with magic balls with more than 10 charge, so taking the White Sand with you might be useful and is, i think, the only way to have 3 different magi on one monster.
Frog is quite interesting. You'll never met Frog normally in Tower unless one Monster is stepped on Frog-Trap or feed with Tunma. Killing it (or is it not necessary`) will then earn a entry in the Monster Book. There are alre some Monsters which never appear in Tower, but only obtainble through evolution.
You shouldnt have wasted Shomuro Seed on yourself. Only use such Seeds on Monsters, since their Level and Stats are permament in Tower while Gene Level is reset back to Level 1. Pita and Medicinal Herb are very useful on Monster, since they raise the Max. HP/MP by one Point if their HP or MP are full. You sold a Diamond Shield after selling 2 Mirror Shields? Both are much better choices than Steel Shield because it dont rust.
I wouldn't sell Mirror Shield, since it has 2 big bonus. 1. It dont rust. 2. It can reflect Spell back. Too bad you sold Gold Sword on 1. Run. With these 2 items you never have to worry about rusting ever again. The low base ATK and DEF isnt a big problem, since they can be tempered. Trained Wand is another variable, since it can be tempered unlike the other Wands and cast mixed Magic. The problem is that its too rare to find. Diamond Shield dont rust either, but it cant reflect spells.
Sometimes you search for songs gor decades and never figure out what it is or do and it's just disappointing. But sometimes, just sometimes, it's everything you wanted and more.

I just wish they weren't tapping through the dialogue as fast. The one to two text boxes is okay enough, but longer speeches like Magnus talking about the stone we're going by so fast I had to rewind and slow down. (Edit) That said, much appreciated that you put this together. Great story and game

my favourite moments are 18:31 where he angstily says "NOW... I'm angry >:(", and 23:25 when the robot just roasts the hell out of the poor dude. the dramatic pauses between responses really do it for me
i recently bought myself a og copy i can play on my ps2 it should arrive Thursday or Friday but being impatient i couldtnt wait so i got it on a emulator now too ha ha man it brings back memories ay

I'm 25, never heard of the game, decided to play, fell in love with the story, almost didn't finish the game cuz I found this video, then after I watched the whole video I finally finished the game. No regrets at all
