Net metering 3 reduces the amount of money you get for the solar electricity by 75%...you will now get commercial rate on solar energy you produce, but pay commercial for energy you consume. Net metering 2 gave the owner a much better rate for the energy they produce. Net metering 3 just killed any gain a person would gain by going solar.
In your first example you show an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) between the Main Service Panel and the Utility Meter and the inverter connected to the panel. Do you have a recommendation for such a unit? I currently have a 6kW Hybrid Inverter with a built in ATS which allows it to switch between grid and solar/battery power but requires use of a critical loads subpanel. I'd like to implement the Lumin and get rid of the subpanel but can't feed the entire 200A utility service through my 6kW inverter can I?
Have A/C, double electric oven and electric cooktop on 100A sub panel circuit off 200A house service. Planning Enphase Ensemble 2.0 PV solar system. Could move gas water heater, washer/dryer, frig & freezer and dishwasher to this sub panel. Can Lumin LSP connect to this sub panel to monitor & shed?

Both phases/legs are listed as options. Note that if you have a 2-pole breaker you will first pair your two Lumin lines. You'll only select the phase for the first line of the pair; the second is automatically assigned as the opposite phase.
