Hi, my name is Randi and I love working with color. I dabble in mixed media and junk journaling although I don’t think it’s junk really. I began creating in 2017 as an escape from a stressful corporate job and haven’t looked back since. I love the boho style although I don’t think I can be placed into any one style box. If it’s colorful, I am drawn to it! I hope to continue learning new types of art, evolving my style and moving forward. I love working with acrylics, watercolors, paper and all types of textiles. Sari and vintage fabrics are my absolute favorites. I began making mini wall hangings from Sari and this is one of the custom items I offer. They are called square dances or may be referred to as bohemian banners on my RU-vid channel. I hope my videos inspire you to step out and try something new, because we can never grow staying in the same place. Happy creating!

Oh gosh, these designs are really cool. I had no idea these stencils were available and I just went on joggles and ordered a bunch of stuff. What kind of paper are you using? All the other videos I have watched they use copy paper which seems much thinner than what you are using. Also do you clean off your stencils or just let the paint build up on them? Thank you so much for your answers in advance.
Thank you! Joggles is such a fun place to shop!!! I believe I was using paper from an old art tablet one of my kids had left over. It worked really well for gelli printing! Otherwise I use 24 lb copy paper and I bought some tissue paper as well that is fun.

Hi Randi! I am sooooooo glad you did this video and showed us how to do this. Thank you so much for not speeding up this video when doing the flower!!!! I had no idea how to finish my cuff from the retreat. Now I feel like I can make some headway. Any chance you could show us how to attach the seed beads decoratively like you did? If you choose colors that are next to one another on the color wheel, it might work better. When you put colors that are across the color wheel, the mixture will turn muddy, like the orchid and gold.
This is one of my favorite projects. It sure stirs up creative and to have a unique piece of wearable art at the end is simply amazing. Thank you Randi for making kits available.💖
You might want to take the bracts off the germs and use them as smaller germs, so you can have more areas of contrast like the fabric does. You can also use that first monoprint to pick up leaf prints that you make a second time around. Just do it when the leaves have been used as stamps, as you did on the first “ghost print”. Just prepare a second gelli plate with light and medium tones.
