welcome to this little corner of the internet where i share and document my time on earth/my human experience: the adventures, the projects, the exploration, the lessons, and everything in between.
hope this little message finds you well. take care of yourself out there!
when i feel like the stars arent aligning, i go for a run, get some excercise (preferably with my brother or with a friend) and after i do an everything shower. only then i can continue doing my good habits, routines and overall stuff i need to do. also eating enough and balanced has (surprise surprise) been helping me.
Omg I loveee ur set up! I found so many great things on marketplace but don’t have any idea how to pick it up, do you use a uhaul truck for ur pickups? Tysm ❤❤
Thank you for your review! I'm a bit shocked about the noise. If there is somebody out there who has any idea to reduce the noise (by modifying the device or by adding something in the room, etc.), please tell me 💗. I currently use Silk Épil 7 but the noise seems to be the same. Actually your risk to break your hair is lower while using the slower mode. So you will have more time until your hair will grow again. I tried many things to get rid of my body hair but I have been loyal to Silk Épil since my early teenage days. I use it everywhere except of my face, as I don't need it there which is a gift. Unfortunately, the rest of my body is very hairy. The only contra argument is this loud noise which makes it nearly impossible to use it if you live in a household with a person who cannot leave the house because of an illness. If I shave my legs, it looks like a skin rash which itches a lot. The last time when I tried waxing (warm wax), I removed the first skin layer of my bikini zone and I will never try it again. I guess I'm too stupid for cold wax as I only achieved to get covered not only my legs but the whole bathroom floor with my pink wax and in the end, I couldn't get rid of it anymore (but the hair was still on my skin, though) and I had to wear my long trousers. When I was at school, I used a lot depilatory creams. Nowadays, I color my hair only with henna and etheric oils because I don't want to damage the environment for something which won't kill me if I don't do it and I can't imagine to use depilatory creams anymore, even if they did a great and very precise job. Now I would like to find an epilator which doesn't break my hair as I won't be able to use it every week, because of the noise. And I will give another try to my Epilette (which "erases" the hair because you have to rub it on your skin). When I used it the last time, it could have been worse. It was effective, but obviously, it doesn't stay for a long time.
I LOVE your apartment and the plants everywhere; it’s like you are my soul twin in what you love! Brass + wood + rattan + plants + crystals + sheepskins are my favorites as well! I am praying for your safe journeys 🙏🏻💕 Literally it is my mission to watch every single one of your videos. I love your earthy enthusiasm and whole vibe 🪴🌿
Wow I actually got a little teary when you talked about basically having an “identity” tied to a bra in public and then the “identity” at home without one. And how inauthentic that can be. I’m a mom who is currently breastfeeding 🤱🏻 a little baby so going bra-less isn’t practical right now, but I really admire those who go bra-less!
5.16 I find them practical when I go to the beach. I know sand gets in, but I just put stuff that gets sand on anyway, and shake the bag as Im leaving.
Agggghhh I literally donated a grey stonewashed, embroidered hippie skirt that I loved but the color bothered me so I decluttered it out. But I don’t feel too bad because I donated it to a friend’s young niece in highschool who was looking for clothes like this. ☺️ This is so good to know that I can bleach grey like this! I love how yours turned out.
Woah we have a similar makeup routine! ❤i used to be such an eyeshadow girl. Lately I’ve been just using concealer & bronzer & blush - and the Jones Road Miracle balm, which I love that it is meant to apply with your fingers as well. I use the Elf Wow Brow because it is a spoolie with tint and sooooo fast for me to apply.
I love your joy and enthusiasm with your finds-- I know I am watching this a year later, but I was squeeing over your thrift finds, too ✨💝🤗 thrifting is the best!
Bring braless back! 😊 Bras are not healthy!!! Silicone, rubber, plastics are unhealthy! Besides they are uncomfortable, that should tell us all we need to know.
I actually have come to love that dark purple / eggplant / aubergine color. Something that I never got before but now I keep my eyes open for that color at thrift stores because it’s such good hippie color.
😍 I love that cream sweater with the purple Fair Isle pattern! Reminds me of something that Swedish RU-vidr @JonnaJinton would wear and so cozy. That rust silk jacket is INCREDIBLE. Those Agolde pants are a total steal!! Way to manifest the flowy sage ones!
It’s a fact men have primal instincts still and 80% of men look at the breast first before the eyes when meeting a woman don’t blame men it’s an instinct women have their own set of primal instincts
Super helpful!! I’m going to try this on a vintage garment I own that I’m obsessed with but it just isn’t my color and I bought it two years ago and haven’t worn it yet. Did you find that the hot water method shrunk any of this items?
Girl slow down! I've been epilating for years, and it's so much better if you take a long slow stroke up the leg. Ankle to knee about 10-15 seconds. THEN you can go back and clean up with quick strokes but it will be so much faster and more efficient! Welcome to the club 😎
I love the monochromatic look of outfit 2- the leather accents are so great with it! Plus, it has those incredible poet sleeves 🥹 Outfit 3- that rich green is an AMAZING color on you
Ok this video is so fun and I love the fact that you challenged us to count up points, lol. I counted on my fingers about 22 possible points (separating the coat + ALSO wearing them when it is not raining; separating the t-shirt styles; and hat styles, extra points for thrifting the item, etc) I got 18 out of 22, lol. What funny is that for my purse, for years I have alternated between a Kavu rope sling bag, a hippie fabric crossbody bag, a Fossil satchel, and a Sak leather bag.
I started wearing bras as a younger girl to claim my femininity. I think we all get the male gaze whether our points are out and perky or not. I confess there are days I feel like being looked at, seen, even desired, and feel that swirling energy when men and women are appraising me, and I feel their interest. I often go braless and have migrated to very sheer loose fitting silk bralets, they don't really support or constrain or stop my jiggling, or conceal my nipples. I got the idea for this type of garment (I have them made) from watching old movies from the 1920s and 1930s, when women wore very slinky / feminine clothing. It has taken courage to come out of the hidden breast / nipple closet, but every emergence is worth it, I could never return to being the hidden mousy me. My mom and GFs have been very supportive, pun intended. Why should only actresses and pop stars be free and show their true selves in public. Thanks for the video. Cheers.
😭 this is the most relatable closet declutter I have watched (and I’ve watched many) and I am going to try your method. It makes sense to my brain. I literally just donated 2 huge bags of clothes to a charity yesterday, that I’d been holding on to and it feels so good to let it go, but also there’s so much emotion surrounding it… saying goodbye to phases and styles of my life that i no longer use. I loved seeing your friends’ joy at trying your things on. I wish I had friends who have a similar taste and love for thing that I like!
For your summer uniform-Linen! Flowy pants/ skirts. Fitted crop top/cami. Oversized cardigan. And sage green & denim. I am a skirts girl in the summer. I used to have a pair of linen wide leg pants years ago and I LOVED them. But they didn’t fit after I started having kids, so I am realizing that’s something I need to find again!
Love this! I remember being a teen and getting a handmade boho fabric bag from a festival in Seattle … think of the made-in-Nepal hippie bags - and I knew that I had found my niche. 💞
