altho no virtual software can quite capture the sound of real amps and cabs, sometimes i wonder why bother recording more than a DI when it comes to modern production. it creates more work when the difference between real and virtual is marginally noticeable if done well
Hi, Les! Great to see you're still kickin', looking and sounding great! Ya' know, I used to fall by your great place, The Cellar Theater and Music Workshop on S. Vermont Ave. in Los Angeles. At that time, you were abut 27 or 28 and blazin' away at the drums with your fine group Transfusion! I still have your pamphlet, "Transfusion, Profile of a Creative Musician, Les DeMerle". The information in it is priceless, to all Les DeMerle fans. A few of the great musicians you had with you in the band are mentioned: Milcho Leviev, Domanic Genova and the great Emmett Chapman. There are lots of great photos of you with greats like Gene Krupa, Lionel Hampton and Frank Foster. Well, man, here's wishing you a great cruise and keep on swingin' !
I bought a cage at Home Depot for around $75. I had to install a mesh around the cage because the racoons kept stealing my marshmallows from the sides using their long fingers. I also anchored the cage with two rebars so they wouldn't move it and activate the trap release from the outside. I caught 4 from a family of 5 that kept using my pool and pooping in it! It's a good idea to install a camera with night vision to study their behavior and see exactly how they approach the cage and where they come into your yard. They can climb a 4X4 like nothing or they can walk across a cedar fence like if it were a sidewalk. They use their long fingers wisely. Once I studied them, I caught them in the exact same place using the exact same method. Number 5 never came back and I have seen him walking across the front of my house through my security cameras!
His broski came by and was like "you stupid SOB, how the hell did you fall for the food in the cage scam?" But I'll go ahead and eat all this food while you look like a clown trying to get out. And you know he told everyone when he got back to the woods too.
I posted 2 or 3 in the past few days. Go to my channel here: ru-vid.com Click on videos or shorts and you’ll see the latest. Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy!!
way to go Bobbo. Hey is that a Play Acoustic you have your mic and guitar plugged into? I love that box, if thats what that is. The harmonies are great on that unit
Hey Monty, not sure about the Play Acoustic because it's not my setup. I borrowed the guitar so I don't even know what I was playing. I do know it was a Martin guitar!
Go to “About” Logic to see if you have Logic Pro 11. It’s the latest update. However, Logic 11 will run on older Macs but the Stem Splitter requires the M1 chip or better. The Intel chip won’t cut it. Good luck.
Jeff Beck the “GOAT” of the electric guitar during the era of Rock n’ Roll ! There’s been many great, creative, avante’ guard etc. guitarist , but Jeff far and away had the most innovative, trailblazing style from a man who practiced twice daily and kept a guitar at his bed side! The ascended Guitar Hero whom I followed since the mid 70’s 💫🎼🎸⭐️
