Thank you! I can't bear to watch the kittens unattended or uncared for. I just had to without hesitation. Now they are family and soon A baby Dragon on its way :) I guess more sleepless nights to come!
Good to know that you are promoting small towns like Titi, which is just 5-10 mins drive from my parents' hometown Kuala Klawang. The mural drawn on the side on the corner lot shoplot (with durian trees and pineapples), was commissioned by Tan Sri Lim Wee Chai, founder of TopGlove. His original home was on the shoplot with the signage "Pejabat Pengurusan Titi Latex". The steamed bun and hakka food are worth trying👍
Glad you like it. Once in awhile I will cycle to Titi by Peraz, hulu langat way. I'm glad that I was finally able to drive there and feature this town taking my own sweet time. Food are awesome! What amazes me most are the people who are super friendly
the next time you visit songkhla, you should visit a few more places: 1) long white sandy Samila beach famous for the mermaid statue 2) Tongkuan hill viewpoint offering the bird's eye view of songkhla city and koh yo island. accessible by lift just opposite the Malaysian consulate 3) naga fountain and its associated bodies 4) songkhla lake ferry ride connecting the main town and local Muslim fishing villages 5) koh yo island famous for cafes and seafood restaurants connected by the Prem Tinsulonanda bridges 6) Phathammarong museum, the birthplace of the former Thai Prime Minister General Prem Tinsulonanda. i highly recommend you to dine at a few places in songkhla which are: 1) the new sin yor rista cafe offers a verdant view of the lake and fishing village and it is very popular among Malaysian tourists. a few ciku trees are grown next to the cafe 2) Nam Kieng Din seafood restaurant with stunning views of the Prem bridges going across the lake.
hi, there. i just went to Phatthalung on the raya week coinciding with the balik kampung season in Thailand for the Songkran. march and april are the seasonal months for the famous pink water lilies at the thale noi lake. to see the pink water lilies in full bloom, you need to be on the boat latest at 6.30am (7.30am malaysian time) during the sunrise as the flowers will close before 11am due to hot weather. i highly recommend you to enjoy the beautiful sunrise at the thale noi lake and also to take a stroll drive along a long bridge going across the lake in the evening for the sunset. there are a few viewing platforms provided on the long bridge. you can try eating the raw pink water lily stems fresh from the lake and they taste crisp and spongy.
I am not Chinese but I love the Chinese culture and wanted to decorate for the Chinese New Year but where I live, I couldn’t find any Chinese new year decor 😭 Oh and Happy New Year to ya’ll!! 🎉
