Screaming Eagle Outdoors is ran by myself Brian Messersmith. IG- thehoundfather. I am a veteran of the 101st Airborne, hints the inspiration for Screaming Eagle Outdoors. After returning from Afghanistan due to injuries I sustained overseas, I have been glad to be able to enjoy the great outdoors once again. On this page you will see hound hunts such as bobcat, lion and bear. Wilderness packing trips, elk hunting, fishing and more. Enjoy! Share and Subscribe!
Thank you man, I appreciate it. I’ll do my best to supply good content. We harvested some dandy bulls last year. I’m going to start recording more of my elk hunts because I feel people would enjoy seeing those too.
Finely I find an Idaho hunter to ask this question!! What is the best tracking collar system if money is no object. I can get a ton of info from flatlanders, but real moutain hunters are hard to find. I DO NOT WANT TO RISK LOSING A DOG so tell us what you would buy please.
Sorry for the delayed response. Wish I saw this question sooner. In my opinion the Alpha 300. After telemetry, I’ve had Astro 220, 320, alpha 100,200 and 300. Although the 200 is a great unit the battery life sucks. The 300 by far has the best battery life, and they switched to the improved usb-c charging port. A TT-15 with long range green antennas are nice. For extreme distance improvements I’d keep a magnetic long range antenna on my vehicle. Double U sells a good one. So does Xtenda range antennas.
Once me and my Buddy the late George Justis from forks Washington cold trailed a old cougar for 11 hours in August 1995 and finally killed him , he had the best dogs in Western Washington without a doubt and was the houndsmen club president
hey brother I am a coon hunter I love to hear them hound's and you have some very fine hound's by the way....the music is a bit much I am not judging you just a little feed back brother....longer video's would be much appreciated....from WASHINGTON INDIANA keep on burning down the timber with those hound's....God bless you and your family and your dog's....and that waylon song was awesome....
Howling good time watching the rugged determination of those beautiful "dawwwggs" on the scent in search of the snatch. Dawwgs across dog parks everywhere bark in admiration of the scented skills of your dawwgs. Bow wowwwww!!!!! New US subscriber.
Outstanding reply from a true Hunter one that does not hunt for the kill.... Conservation is the key to anything surviving same holds true for our country.
If you really want to prove you're a man, why don't you leave the dogs behind and the rifles behind and take the mountain lion with your bare hands? Anybody can murder a mountain lion with a gun, even a Girl Scout
@@screamingeagleoutdoors3092 why is murdering the mountain lion necessary in the first place? You're not killing it because it needs to be killed, you're only killing it because you love to kill
It has nothing to do with proving anything we hunt for the same reason you watch tv or play video games or sports or whatever you do it’s enjoyable. I don’t care if another person knows what I kill, I don’t even take pictures and don’t tell anybody unless they ask. it’s not about that it’s fun and completely natural and acceptable in the eyes of god so we don’t need to justify it to you or anybody else any more than you need to justify watching tv. Animals are here for us to reign over and people like you act like they are our equal they are not they are literally for our enjoyment and food.
@@screamingeagleoutdoors3092 harvesting? 🤣🤣🤣 You make it sound like winter wheat and you planted the seeds and now you have to get the combine and go harvest it. And what do you do with your harvest? Do you take it to general Mills and they turn it into breakfast cereal? People who hunt simply for the thrill of killing have a serious psychological disorder
Most of their blood is T-top, I got my first pure bred Redbone pup as a Father’s Day gift from my wife. Annie, my wife likes to say she’s the gift that keeps on giving.
What part of Idaho are you in? I was 2/506 in the 101st. I have a Walker, a Redbone, and a Duncan black and tan. Haven't been able to get my first one yet but I've been trying non stop. I can't believe the amount of ground I've covered without seeing any cat tracks. Tons of elk and deer tracks but nothing else besides coyotes occasionally.
True conservation begins with hunters like this gentleman not everything you hunt results in a kill not everything you pray for from God ends up being given.... Conservation is the key to everything surviving much like this country.
Awesome video Thanks for letting us watch the dogs work the track all the way to the tree . If you get a chance and like other hound videos check out Mountain Music and Mules My son videos his bear hounds here in Western Virginia Thanks again!!!
