3:22 - Just a slight correction you need to know the other numbers & letters, and they are not always for larger scale maps. 10T is the Grid Zone Designation (basically the UTM zone of the map), maps sometimes can be outside of UTM zone, so this is fine & you can ignore it unless you're reporting your location to a unit outside of the Grid Zone (i.e. outside of the map). The real issue is the second pair of letters - "FR", that's the 100,000 meter square identification, in some situations you may have a map which is within the X of where four different 100,000 Meter squares intersect. Essentially you'll have four different 100,000M square identifiers e.g. FN, FM, GM, GN.
Dude called gimself stryker lol. Just take a paintball bag. Your not gonna be carrying a 50 lb pack at the event that is so nerdy lol. 😮 Like bro lighten the load.
Where is the best place to shop for a electric airsoft rifle ? Im wanting to go for the first time but dont know where i should buy all my gear from i just want the best if not mid gear and gun. Any suggestions?
as someone who is active duty rn Ive always wanted to try this event but worried its gonna be super cringe and dumb someone plz enlighten me on it if your a vet and you see this I assume you know what I mean thnx.
Great video. Going for the 1st time in a few weeks. What did you mean by a "field game" and plate carrier v. field kit. Can you define it? I have both and want to wear the right gear. Thanks!
Im going to my first event in the upcoming months. Can someone tell me like the things they supply you with such as, do they give you uniforms? Do you bring your own backpack and plate carrier/vest. Basically what they will give and what they won’t give so I know what to bring or what not to bring. If someone could help me out I’d really appreciate it.
If I'm NATO, can I bring a Glock 19X or is bringing a pistol a good idea? Do you know anything about Hill 559 in Clovis CA. Do we sleep in tents, Shelter or under the stars. This will be my first event. Thanks
Wow this is way more in depth on what to pack for a MilSim than other videos I’ve seen so far. I’m legit scared now lol I’m barely getting into it thanks to my church but woah this is a lot to take in
I never rented nvg's so I'm asking you guys, why would you choose to rent night vision for 250$ or more? For this much you can build your own (what I did).
@@Soapy_Sophie612 Nothing expensive, a camera module with IR filter removed connected to a small monitor and a controll board with a rechargable battery. It's not sensitive so i use an extra IR illuminator. Despite it's low component cost it can record both audio and video for many hours, and is so small i have it fitted to my neck guard, an additional benefit to such a setup is not having additional weight on my helmet. Of course i have the screen well covered from the sides to avoid light leaks.
Interested in MilSim West, just wondering a few things: do they rent replicas? Or do I need to bring my own. (Any good websites?). What's good for the "NATO" side in the terms of clothing (I know the style is stipulated in the TASCOP) just wondering if there's good websites to order it. Tl;DR: I'm going to a Milsim what event (maybe) and would love to have websites for the gear I would need. (I'm making an expenditure list.)
No kiddo, this is not a casual skirmish. Its 40 hours constant playing. I would seriously consider airsoft milsim games when your an adult. In the meantime, get some hiking and camping experience in. It all helps!
