For me they are fine to hold, I’m pretty sure they’re only poisonous which means you have to eat them to die. Just make sure you don’t have any open wounds or sores and wash your hands after. Then u can hold them.
I'm gonna let you know, that's no bream, that's a tarwhine, and that's an amazing size for them, you can tell by the shape of the head. I've only ever seen 1 at that size in my lifetime. Really congrats
