I think the mother/daughter relationship is more of a ‘I regret you but I know I need to protect you’ type of relationship - which is so upsetting but unfortunately it’s the real world. Could’ve been executed WAY better, we needed much more of a deep dive. This movie was just too much to unravel for one watch lol. But you guys are spot on; the writing was questionable lol
Can't think of a single director that uses slow-mo as much as Snyder (he might even use it 2X more than the next guy/gal) .. feels like an absolute crutch now.
@@goodwillpodcasting Watchmen. 300 might be his best, but having read (and loved) the graphic novel for Watchmen I really respect how close he stayed to the source material -- and those characters, Dr Manhattan, Ozymandias & Rorschach are iconic.
