This demo doesn't have as much punch as the final song. I think it's the lyrics in the second verse of the demo, you can be sad in the first verse but not wallowing in it in the second verse. There's almost a Duran Duran sound to this demo.
Rihanna obviously got the permission to use the song and omitting the fact that u still need the voice to perform the song doesn’t really make sense to me 😭
