Im passionate about car detailing especially rare cars, race cars and cars that seem beyond repair. Being an ex drag racer im still fixated on speed.... fast cars, fast boats and fast jet ski's are going to be featured a lot on our channel.
Haha priceless….slowdown!!! Haha. If it ain’t a mod supercharged v8 or n F6 well the rest are boat anchors. Nice to drive though. Even my Fg Super Pursuit with the 315 is still a boat achor
hey mate, if you have time can you go over your garage door that you painted Blue. Looks great, thinking about doing the same thing. Would be good if you could go over everything that you did for the finished product...
Your most welcome regarding the tip mate, need to keep these rare cars preserved. Another tip once your boot is either fixed or replaced, have your panel beater use a cavity wax treatment inside the boot lid. It'll never rust again. I've done this to my fgx sprint, 8 years old and still waiting for rust here
cheers mate, yes i was thinking the old fashioned fish oil but the guy im going to specializes in restorations so im sure hes going to suggest something lie what you have done.
Such a impressive transformation. A point with the boots, pull those rubber grommets out on the bottom of the boot lid, they hold in water with them in
You need to paint everything bud, corrosion will start in the bits you didn't paint on the rear of the rim. If you clear the rears too you'll have them much easier to clean
hi there we generally go out once a month as a group sometimes more if there are special events on. come on over to the facebook page and speak to @Dancuschieri on the FPVGTC page. he will give you all the info you need.
@@straitlinedetailingrpr9715 I certainly will mate ….. still looking. The last few that have popped up have been around the $60k mark …. Bit too pricey !
Awesome video mate, love the bloopers at the end 😂 I’ll be trying something like this on my BF Fairmont very soon. If I get result close to what you achieved I’d be more than happy. Good to see your son helping out too! Keep it up fellas 🍻
@@briansymes2936 Legend, much appreciated mate. We’ve had some crazy hot weather lately in Perth so I think I’ll wait till the heat is well and truly gone before I attempt it. Cheers.
cheers mate, yeah thats the benefits of ceramic coating, i was going to wax it for the year but ive changed my mind, its getting a polish and a new coat of ceramic soon as i can fit it in.
yeah i know i said i wanted to go wax but ive just done Gtechniq CSL to my sons other car the AU and itis awesome. im going another ceramic coat for sure haha
Absolutely beautiful! Full credit to you legend and how far it's come from when you first picked it up. Watching these videos on your BF GT reminds me that the B Series FPV's are the king and also makes me love my Force 8 more watching your videos. Keep up the great content mate.
You sure do look after the GT Brian, a credit to you mate, just advice from my experience with my BA MK2 GTP, wait a week after painting the Brembos before fitting the stickers, or they shrivel a bit from something in the paint if its too fresh, 3rd time lucky for me, & then clear coat to keep stickers looking good for years.. And engine bay looks great, so clean APART from the dirty old radiator tank, less than 100 bucks for a clean new one.. Cheers!
Thanks for the advice on the brembos…. I’ll be waiting for sure! As for the engine bay, yes still a work in progress and that will be on the list to replace along with cleaning and painting more parts that you can’t see from the top.
I'm 99% certain I know this bike. This is (or was) Ray Gulson's from his car sales yard in Fyshwick ACT - so I'm calling BS on the total stock & 8klms rhetoric.
thanks for your comment, I'm sure you know what you're talking about as you are 99% certain you know the bike?? the 1% leaves some doubt though... i wonder if that's a closer certainty of what you know about the bike.
When you pull off the old boss lable I've applied a layer of ducted tape over the top of the boss lable to remove. Using the heat gun once heat is desired pull the tape slowly of the top of the boss lable whilst using the plastic scraper as you were under the boss lable. The extra pull on top of the boss lable often makes it alot more easily removed being pulled off from two directions. ???? Cheers.
It's all good I've been enjoying watching the GT come along. At least it has fuel now after you purchased it. But anyway she is for a country car. As I live in the bush and I know full well what that is like. But this is giving me some great ideas cleaning up my BF G8 FAIRLANE. Awesome.
I just picked up a BF 06 G8 FAIRLANE. Lighting Strike is the paint. With all the goodies. And I'm chuffed as I ever have been. So I cant Evan image the youth it brings and one of the best design BF In All ranges. But I'm really rapt for ya Can't wait to see some work coming along with the Aussie icon GT.👍👍
