I graduated college in 1982 with a degree in electrical engineering and worked as a contractor since 1990 working on commercial avionics products like air data computers, inertial navigation systems, windshear detection systems, as well as medical devices like implanted defibrillators and immunoassay systems. This agile scrum nonsense is dangerous considering how it puts time pressure on people to show that they accomplished something for the next infantile daily meeting and the distractions of the constant context switching. Agile scrum, more than anything else, makes me glad to be nearing retirement. Does anyone think they can implement a kalman filter from scratch in one of those infantile two week sprints?
Very well explained! Thank you! How can I download the slides? Is there a tool where we can manage strategic planning to program/project level planning with KPI measure embedded in it?
After listening to you I think I can answer every question on agile coaching with confidence. Thanks so much. I would like to link up. I'm in the job market as an entry-level agile coach
Hello, I've stumbled across your many videos. I am very interested in taking a course and take the test and interview to become a Scrum Master. Where do I start to get ready for the test. Where do i take the test? and What do I need before taking the test? I have been watching all your SCRUM 101 for 2 months now.

IMHO: The Traditional Way as described in this video is over-simplistic & not realistic anymore. In reality, most teams that are forced to follow a "hybrid-waterfall" approach that often gets confused w/ the traditional way. It's an iterative approach developed in parallel across multiple teams of developers/BAs/Architects. This leads to different versions/releases of your product, but nothing gets bogged down and the spending is within your control. It's not scrum; its not better, or worse...its just different. Check it out -- hybrid waterfall.
What is the role of project manager in agile/scrum projects? In every company I see project manager sitting next to product owner and project manager tells product owner what he needs to be delivered in this sprint or corrections based on requirements changes. But in all Agile workshop which I have seen they don't even mention project manager role in Agile.
Great video, great idea on bringing this Agile process live, bring Agile to light and instead of just the reading books n scrum guide, you tube videos, reference it now to your live videos, it’s amazing thank you Sally.
Boy some people need to lay off the coffee/stimulants. I agree with Hish, the music was not distracting. It kept the energy up and helped make somewhat dry, but necessary information fun to learn.
